.Conduct market analysis for each product group and per segment (prices,
specifications, competition, etc)
ô¸ Communicate with ABB suppliers to make sure that price lists are in line with the
market price levels
ô¸ Communicate with ABB suppliers for technical issues, new products developments,
and special discounted offers
ô¸ Responsible for all marketing activities and tools (seminars, presentations, etc)
ô¸ Contact consultants during early design stage to influence ABB name and
specifications in tender documents
ô¸ Prequalify ABB, its products, and channels partners with ministries, utilities, etc
ô¸ Continuous assessment of panel builders in terms of technical capabilities and
capacity
ô¸ Set basic start up requirements for new panel builders (space, layout, man power,
technical know-how, machines, tools, etc)
ô¸ Continuous training for all sales staff, panel builders, customers, etc
ô¸ Technical support for sales staff and panel builders during all stages of the project
ô¸ Open new market opportunities and segments for sales staff to penetrate Work on
“Challenging Products” initiative: select new products within ABB portfolio and
set some action plans to promote them to the marketplace
ô¸ Identifying customer requirements, making models and prototypes of products.
ô¸ Using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
ô¸ Attending meetings on site.
ô¸ Preparation of Electrical procedures for installation test & commissioning.
ô¸ Reading electrical design specifications and technical drawings.
ô¸ Organizing routine servicing schedules.
ô¸ Making sure all electrical engineering projects are fit for purpose.
ô¸ Liaising with and monitoring third party contractors.
ô¸ Negotiating with suppliers and purchase items at optimum cost.
ô¸ Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to managers and
clients.
