Working in the Development & Planning Department which is responsible for the development of Internal Trade in several aspects including Strategy, Processes, People, Systems, and Services. In this role, my responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Core team member in the National Transformation Program contributing to enhance the business environment and the ease of doing business in Saudi Arabia and to increase the national competitiveness.
• Contributing in building the strategy of MCI.
• Contributing in identifying strategic objectives, KPIs, and initiatives for MCI and MCI sister entities.
• Conducting studies and performing Impact Analysis to restructure the pricing of some services and give recommendations to top management.
• Conducting studies to continuously improve Organization, Processes and IT systems.
• Monitoring Internal Trade Agency Project Portfolio
• Managing IT and non- IT Projects.
• Member of the Trade Policy Review team with World Trade Organization WTO.
Worked in the Enterprise Project Management Office EPMO under the umbrella of Strategy Group. The EPMO ensures the alignment of the bank projects portfolio to the organization strategy. As a part of the EPMO activities, the office owns the project management methodology, facilitate annual project planning, promote project management practices and report projects to top management. In this role, my responsibilities/ achievements including but not limited to:
• Facilitating the implementation of project governance on Corporate Banking transformation program.
• Member of the Project Management Handbook work group who reviewed the new project management methodology of Alrajhi Bank.
• Delivered awareness sessions to 200+ project managers/ owners bank-wide.
• Reporting Retail Banking strategic projects to the management.
• Supervising the disaster recovery tests for Alinma Investment Company and participating in Alinma Bank’s tests.
• Reviewing and updating the Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plans for both Alinma Bank and Alinma Investment.
• Revising BCM policies and procedures.
• Administrating the BCM software LDRPS of ALinma Bank and Alinma Investment.
• Was a team member of a group of five members who established Alinma Investment during 2008 and 2009. These projects were legal projects, strategic business projects, operational projects, and IT projects.
• Worked closely with external consultants (KPMG) and senior management of AIC and used analytical skills to contribute to business related projects in Alinma Investment such as; Business Plan, Strategy development, Operating model (all AIC processes), and Operation Manuals as well as Capital Market Authority license and application preparation.
• Diagnosed and identified minor and major technical problems of AIC information systems and reported them to development, integration, and design teams in order to resolve the issues.
• Played a vital role by putting IT theory into practice in order to establish AIC IT systems such as ERP, CRM, HRM, procurements, T24, Trading system, customers brokerage online.
• Utilized Project Management knowledge to manage, follow up, and resolve issues facing AIC projects as PMO member or Project Manager.
• Evaluated, tested IT systems as per the environment changes and recommended technical improvements from business perspective.
• Analysed business requirements and developed the appropriate flow charts/ process maps frequently for development teams to be used during development.
