• Responsible for working directly with consultant and clients to effectively develop and deliver a design solution.
• Cooperate and participate in meetings with public authorities (Kahramaa - Water and electricity authority; PWA - Public works authority - Ashghal, Drainage affairs, Operation and Maintenance Department)
• Reviewing the Shop drawing for Roads, Utilities (FS, TSE, Water, ITS, Q-tel, HV, MV...) Traffic, Construction stages etc.
• Work closely with other departments in company (construction department, procurement, QA …)
• In charge for preparation design and shop drawings related to civil works.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations in the design department.
Government Programme: Local Roads & Drainage Programme (220 Projects)
Duties and responsibilities:
- Coordination with various Stakeholders related to utilities works/requirements
- Focal point for coordination with the Local License Telecommunication Service Providers
- Focal point of the contact for the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) and for the Commutation Regulatory Agency (CRA)
- Focal point during process of the establishment of the MoU between CRA and the Clint-PWA
- Responsible for synchronization of Telecommunication Providers needs
- Responsible for organization of meetings related to Stakeholders/LTSPs
- Coordinate with 5 General Engineering Consultant and Designers
- Support Higher Management with feedback information from all Stakeholders
- Managing the design approval process necessary for completion of the Programme
- Reviewing of various Reports
• Coordination with design Subcontractor (Parsons International) and Consultant (Technital S.p.A.) and joint implementation of design changes and adjustments
• Cooperation and participation in meetings with public authorities (Kahramaa - Water and electricity authority; PWA - Public works authority - Ashghal, Drainage affairs, Operation and Maintenance Department)
• Preparation of correspondence letters with Client, Consultant and Subcontractors
• Designer of permanent and temporary construction solutions for all construction departments, including structural, electrical, road works and landscaping department
• Work on construction related documents (Shop Drawings, Safety traffic solution for closing road under traffic, Various Road modifications for better traffic solutions, Variation Orders, As Built Drawings and Maintenance Manuals) for all construction departments
• Coordination with suppliers and joint implementation of design changes and adjustments
• Problem solution and improving of design in construction processes
• Preparation and monitoring of drawings especially for Landscaping Work (comparison with Contract drawings, Project Specification and Related Sections in QCS )
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve time project schedule
• Direct and manage project development from preliminary up to final architectural design
• Coordinate all interfaces with the Clients and stakeholders and supervise necessary permits from End Users
• Work with the building project lead contractor, together with civil, electrical engineers, interior decorators and landscape architects
• Control and adjustment of all technical documentation for design
• Definition of a building’s specifications for variety of architectural programmes
• Give guideline and instruction to draftsman for specific technical details to achieve require style in modern way of construction and requirements
• Collaborate with professionals in and out of the company, to provide implementation of all construction elements for the project

Assist customer to choose furniture from showroom and catalogs, Screen interior, find functional solution and provide technical drawings for furniture production (custom made furniture)
