• Preparation of Financial Statements as per IFRS requirements and liaison with Internal and external auditors for timely completion of the audit.
• Assisting in financial planning and control - Budgeting, trends & Variance analysis.
• Evaluating the viability of the development projects by calculating the project IRR, NPV, Free Cash Flow, and Project Payback.
• Preparing cash flows, bank position, and other management ad hoc reports.
• Supervise and maintain the general and subsidiary ledgers properly.
• Verification of LPO's, coding and posting of approved expenses as per budget in respective GL Accounts, cost centres and ensure approval for Opex & Capex.
• Ensure posting run is complete for all rental contracts in a timely manner.
• Liaise with property and facility managers for proper monthly closing and reporting process including the analysis of the monthly Rent Roll Report of all properties.
• Ensure timely preparation of tenant refunds in coordination with the credit control department.
• Responsibility for ensuring data collection, review, consolidation, preparation and payment of quarterly VAT liability.
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting for VAT in the general ledger.
• Ownership of process for the preparation, validation & filing of VAT returns.
• Financial reports & managing overall finance function.
• Budgeting & performance measurement.
• Working Capital management and Monitor all bank movements.
• Provide customers and service profitability analysis.
• Identifying areas for cost-cutting and improvement.
• Involvement in external and internal audit and ensure recommendation compliance.
• Evaluate business proposals and their short and long-term financial impact.
• Support GM in relation to the recruitment process and manpower planning.
• Involvement in tenders and pricing for the new clients.
• Ensuring that procurement policies and procedures are enforced properly.
• Ensure Compliance with QMS ISO 9001 - 2008.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and relevant UAE regulations.
• Confirmation and posting of transactions in the accounting system (Microsoft Navision).
• Responsible for month end closing, monthly management accounts, and MIS reports.
• Making and interpreting final accounts and coordination with the auditors.
• AP, AR reconciliation along with credit collections follow up.
• Aging Analysis for AP, AR - Managing the financial budget of the company.
• Preparing bank position and bank reconciliations.
• Payroll and employees’ settlement.
• Lead and managed annual audits of firm’s top tier clients ranging from partnership firms, private companies to multi-billion Rupees investments in different sectors.
• Managed services to the clients, which include preparation of audit strategy, audit plan, setting budgets, scheduling audits, reviewing International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) based deliverables, selecting staff and assigning workloads.
• Identified flaws and discrepancies in process and internal control cycles leading to recommendations for improvements.
