Working in Dry Docks World Dubai, UAE as Quality Control Paint & Coating Inspector with an extensive knowledge in various types of surface preparation i.e., blasting, water jetting, power tool cleaning and coating in various areas such as Dock yards, offshore & shop, semi-submersible rig, new building projects, vessels tankers, etc. In addition to perform as a Safety works include but not limited as HSE adviser.
Job Responsibilities:
Quality Control Inspector
Attend pre-meeting with the main contractor prior to the start of any work clarify inspection requirements, plans and procedure.
Review and approve the project specification, inspection, test plan & quality control procedure, method of statement, material approval request issued by the contractors.
Monitor and record climatic condition.
Ensure that work carried out under the satisfaction of client’s requirements & project specification
Ensure the paints are applied in accordance with the specification and manufacturer’s instruction.
Keep up-to-date notes of all phases of the work, do the report with the requirements.
HSE Advisor
Monitor new employees and conduct safety awareness.
Ensures that safety inspection are conducted as scheduled and that correction are made as needed.
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of an Occupational Safety and Health programs in QC Department
Reviews result of accident investigation and implementation of accident prevention.
Maintain accurate records of the safety activities and prepares report as needed.
Submit all the incident report done for a week in the HSE Officer
