Currently, I am an integral member of a major project’s Arbitration team that recently won the arbitration merit determination.
My experience with ASTAD Project Management as follows,
Completion of the Design and Construction of Sidra Medical and Research Centre (SMRC) for Qatar Foundation - Education City
Al Shaqab - Veterinary Hospital - Fit-out & Medical Equipment - Education City
Construction of Qatar National Library for Qatar Foundation - Education City
Construction of Qatar Foundation Headquarters & Strategic Studies Center for Qatar Foundation - Education City
Construction of South Site Wide Infrastructure and EC Landscaping for Qatar Foundation - Education City
I have involved four projects including construction of Concourse A, Concourse D, Relocation of airport expo and related facilities ( Al MAJLIS at Terminal one ) and Cargo Mega Terminal Upgrade & Extension. ALEC's scope includes the overall co-ordination of the projects, managing various subcontract packages and associated packages. I have involved procuring sub-contractors, negotiation with sub-contractors for a better outcome, consolidating sub-contract agreements, perusing sub-contractors’ payment application with submitted supportive documents, preparing sub-contract payment certificate through CCS, preparing interim application with requested supportive documents, submitting cost proposals, finalizing final account of sub contract and main packages. Currently assisting to Senior Quantity Surveyor for cost management tasks including preparation of internal cost report, cash flow forecast, splitting the common cost to relevant packages and maintaining the fuel management log and sharing the total cost between work packages. Monitor the petty cash expenditure and release of sub-contractor payments. Be prepared to work as substitute to customs clearance coordinator.

Skills
Pre Contract activities
• Taking off by using Auto CAD, CAD measure, Autodesk design review and manual. Preparing Bills of Quantities for civil, infrastructure and building works, assist to preparation of cost plans, tender evaluation, tender selection, preparing cash flow forecasts, preparing cost data base and cost analysis.
• Preliminary estimating, specification writing, preparation of tender documents, tender procedure and evaluation, sub-contractors and suppliers management.
• Attending meetings and assist to preparation of contractual correspondences.
Post Contract activities
• Preparation of sub-contractors' payment certificates with CCS, site inspections and measurement of works, preparing interim valuations with CCS, assist to preparation of cost reports, assessing variations, attending progress meeting, producing commercial based supportive documents for final account.
• Good knowledge in condition of contracts FIDIC based projects.
