• Researched alternative options of sourcing books and explored potential vendors to join our programs.
Studied the feasibility of implementing RFID and ASN in our warehouse to increase efficiency, visibility and reduce (lost-misplaced) books.

• Handled RFQ and biddings analysis for marine transportation tender, over a $1 billion service contract, and managed the 3rd party relationship.
• Improved shipping transportation cost and efficiency by introducing a new statistical methodology and market data analysis.
• Developed new criteria to cover cost versus quality aspect of the service provider.
• Negotiated shipping prices and coordinated contracts with external service providers.
• Developed the processes of SCM procurements cost-to-serve and optimizing network models.

• EMDAD “SABIC Supply Chain Reengineering Project” (Duration 2.5 years). the point of contact for sourcing and contracting process and related activities.
• Procure-to-Pay (PTP) automation (Duration 1 year). Assisted in developing and migrating the bidding tender algorithms from Excel to a web-based PTP system.
• Annual Business Plan Integration project. Team lead in integrating transportation and sourcing departments’ requirements and inputs into the business plan.
• Data Quality and Process Integrations project. Duration 6 months.
• SABIC Supply Chain Management Global Integration project Duration 3 months. Change management and process support.
• Portside Logistics Facility (PLF) Project (duration 6 months). Studies the feasibility of establishing a long-term investment to build rail network and port facility to handle SABIC shipments.

• Studied market insight and prepared monthly reports covering market intelligence and marine transportation performance status to support upper management decision-making. Optimized supplier communication process, reduced the response time by requesting dedicated person of contact.
• Contributed to preparing the allocations planning based on service quality and the cost optimization. Carried out department budgeting and all related activities.

• Initiated and led Unilever Global Customer Service KPIs and loss analysis in the gulf region.
• Led a weekly meeting with supply chain operations team to discuss the critical issues and set Action Plan.
