As the marketing manager, I was responsible for ATL and BTL promotions. I was also responsible to increase sales outlets in the retail, hospitality & institutional sector.
•Led a team of 7 regional sales managers, 8 supervisors and 20 salesmen.
•Increased sales figures by 170%
•Set up an export division and exported products to over 5 countries with annual billings of over 4 million p.a
• Worked on market entry plans for business expansion, including aspects of market research, packaging, design, sales promotion, supply chain management, logistics and legal requirements.
•Wrote articles on the Economic issues and emerging business trends in K.S.A
• Interview corporate and government decision makers.

• Monitor movement of 27 Goody items like Mayonnaise, peanut butter, salad dressing etc
• Coordinate with sales staff and regional branches the sales & movement of each item. Submit reports / recommendations to management.
• Introduced new products thru market research in the Goody range. Eg. Goody snacks
• To visit retail and wholesalers country wide regularly to keep abreast on competitive brands and note their market share consumer profile, advertising & pricing strategies
Initially appointed as a senior marketing executive, I was promoted eventually leaving the firm as the marketing manager. My main focus was on sales and market development for brands such as KRAFT and Indus Valley.
•Increased sales by 70% by increasing stockiest in outer city zones.
•Started a new division, namely Catering Sales to serve the institutional and hospitality sector.
