• Administer warranty policy in the best interests of the Dealership, the manufacturer and the customer aiming for profitability and efficiency.
• Keep an accurate analysis of all recall campaign completions against applicable vehicles
• Review warranty reporting systems with the Group General Manager and initiate improvements where necessary.
• Examine outstanding warranty debts on the weekly and daily reports and implement action to ensure their recovery.
• Ensure the defect reports and quality control reports are completed correctly by the workshop staff following manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Provide advice on warranty and goodwill to other Retailer members to ensure total customer satisfaction.
• Use technical knowledge and understanding of warranty procedures to enable effective, economic and correct application of manufacturer’s warranty and goodwill systems.
Fault diagnosis, Electronic Control Modules programming for Ford cars.
Service and repairs of Fuel system of Automobile Internal combustion Engines according to Ford service manuals.
Diagnosis and pinpoint tests on cars using diagnostic equipments; Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS), System Driven Diagnosis (SDD) and T4 depending on the year of manufacture of cars through Vehicle Communication Module (VCM) as interface between car and diagnostics.
Technical upgrade, retrofitting and programming on automobile control units for effective performance.
Clearing of fault codes displayed on instrument clusters using diagnostics according to service bulletin and clearing procedures.
Pre-delivery inspection on in-stock cars to discover defects before final delivery to customers.
Technical Campaign and Recall processing on parts to be replaced according to manufacturer Field Service Actions (FSA) policy.
• Procedure drafting to update Engineers operations on MPN equipments (Reciprocating and Centrifugal Pumps, Industrial Non- Frame and Aero derivative Gas Engines and Compressors) both offshore and core maintenance department.
• Writing equipment Competency Assessment Summaries to check the Maintenance Team general safety with the intention of providing hazard-free and cost effective operation of the unit.
• Top-Tier Machineries (TTM) site validation training for Engineers and Technicians to check their conformity with the required equipment strategies.
• Creation of Equipment, Functional Locations and Work Centers in Mobil System Application Product R3 software package called IPES.
• Creation of PM notification in IPES which is used to alert maintenance team that an ad-hoc repair or inspection is required in accordance with the Maintenance and Reliability System (M&RS).
• Review of such PM notification to check the level of priority of the work which is later used to create an ad-hoc work order after approval by the Maintenance Manager.
