• Responsible for entire logistics operations for inbound and outbound shipments to other GCC by all means of transport.
• Responsible for all deliveries to domestic and international Channel partners and retailers within the agreed time frame.
• Develop cost-effective solutions for supply chain, warehouse, material handling and distribution by finding suitable logistics partners.
• Organizing and encouraging team work within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
• Responsible for placing orders with vendors like HP, Dell, Microsoft, IBM, Lenovo,
Fujitsu, Acer and local vendors by online and offline.
• Tracking systematically for the progression of orders placed to vendors till the orders are taken to inventory system and ready for sale.
• Prepare and submit monthly cash out flow statement in the beginning of each month and In charge to prepare payment to all Vendors by making sure that the commercial invoices from vendors are affected in MANDS (financial system) and truly due for payment as per agreed payment terms with vendors till TT copies are sent to vendors.
• Regular updates to Product Owners on progression of orders with ETA of orders in order to plan the sales which allows the sales team to take early action for sales.
• In charge to submit all purchases to inventory system by making sure that the right quantity with appropriate part number and description and accurate expenses from origin up to the warehouse are posted on import shipments to maintain exact landed cost.
• Actively managing shipment movements to resellers/customer domestically and internationally in GCC and Africa specially to Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Uganda, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq by Air/Sea/Land/Courier and Insures proper shipping documentation like SASO, COC and legalization from Embassies as required by destination and JAFZA as well and Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders, customers and agents in a timely manner and forwarding tracking updates to sales team.
• Verify all service invoices from freight forwarders, courier companies and logistics outsourcing partners and send it to finance team for payment.
• Constantly focused on driving down expenditure by negotiating with freight forwarders, couriers and other third parties and take efforts to find suitable freight partners in terms of service and cost.
• Responsible for preparing necessary documents in order to claim the compensation from Marine insurance company for any missing or damage during the transit.
• Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
• Independently handling accounts upto finalization
• Prepare Letter of Credit documents for import and export L/C
• Handling import and Export shipments and local purchase and deliveries
• Responsible for payment to vendors and freight forwarders
