Key driver for developing effective safety policies and procedures.
• Carrying out regular inspections and risk assessments as part of job safety analysis for the development of safe working procedures.
• Investigate accidents and recommending any improvements in safety standards. Writing reports and keeping accident records.
• Coordinate the Operation Excellence activities and Facilitate OE Leadership Team meetings.
• Keeping up to date with all new legislation & development in H&S and advising the business of any changes.
• Carrying out site safety inductions. Identifying staff training requirements.
• Champion ICARE process and facilitate grass roots ICARE meetings/activities, Organize quarterly ICARE champions’ forum & Support the sustenance of the Repetitive Stress Injury Preventive Program (RSIPP).
• Determining internal health and safety policies and control measures
• Maintaining an audit trail of all H&S documents. Assisting in the documentation of contractual agreements with third party organizations.
• Evaluates the impact of global safety issues as it relates to offshore and onshore operations.
• Guiding the organization on HSE regulations and its applications.
• Trained employees on safety policies, standard, and concepts.
