Role/Position: Principal - Well Completions Project Rig: HPCN 120
Client/Company and Location: Petrocompletions Nigeria Limited
Key roles & responsibilities include:
• Assigned as the business unit technical authority for the Completion Engineering discipline
• Prepare/lead, plan, coordinate, advise, provide mentorship and supervise all aspects of well completion works for successful, cost-effective, and safe implementation of completion operations
• Onshore/ offshore execution, project planning, scheduling, control, interface management, procurement of long lead items, progress measurement and reporting
• Develop standardized well completion procedures and programs to ensure safe and efficient operations by introducing innovative programs/techniques and setting key performance indicators for the project teams to be implemented with Petrocompletions Clients
• Improve operational efficiency by applying the latest state-of-the-art technology in all facets of well completion during development drilling -completion and workover operations
• Consolidate, capture, and verify the lessons learned and share the knowledge with all engineering personnel in the business unit in the various projects to ensure everybody is well informed and contributes to the improvement of the work processes and technology applications
• Develop the scope of work and technical specifications for Well Completion equipment for tender packages to be in line with the engineering standards and meet the operational requirements
• Conduct engineering and technical studies associated with well completion to increase competitiveness and improve well integrity. Key Projects & clients include:
• NDPR/ H-PTP Energies - Ogbele Field Development, Senior Completions Engineer (Apr 2022 -Till Date, 2022), 2 wells have been successfully completed, and I am currently on the third well.
• DAMAS - Obe Field Development, Senior Completions Engineer (Mar-Jun 2021)
