Recruitment and Placement
• Developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, short listing, screening applicants for basic compliance with position qualifications, summarizes CVs for easier evaluation by the departmental heads.
• Arrange interviews for senior/managerial levels and conduct interview for junior levels.
• Prepares recruitment documents for approval, letter of offer to selected candidates and letter of rejection to unsuccessful candidates.
• Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements.
• Control, maintains and updates manpower plan and prepares related monthly and weekly reports.
• Coordinate with local and overseas recruitment agencies to fill available vacancies and liaise with approved recruitment agencies for supply of manpower.
• Prepare annual man power planning which includes previous years comparison.
Compensation and benefits
• Ensure the accuracy of the timesheets, standard payroll data by observing and questioning the concerned personnel and approve necessary changes in benefits for each payroll run in Oracle system.
• Ensure all payments, e.g. salaries, leave salaries and incentives are paid in a timely manner.
• Monitor, compare and analyze monthly over time register for necessary control of excessive overtime and issue internal memos requesting proper justification for unusual overtime if any.
• Ensure that payroll records and filing system are up to date and in a confidential manner, including employee files, deduction records, accrued payments, overtime records, status amendments, leave and sick leave records.
• Prepare annual benefit provisions for all employees which include leave provision, air ticket provision and end of service gratuity.
Employee and Labor Relation
• Prepare employments contracts in accordance with Qatar Labor Law and company HR policies.
• Identify and comply with all legal requirements and Government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
• Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, employees over time, disciplinary procedures and employee absence.
• Coordinate and advice PRO to meet the legal requirements of new employees, resident permit stamp and follow up for renewal of resident permits of existing employees.
Other HR duties
• Advise departments regarding policies & procedures interpretations, staffing & related personal problems.
• Attends to employee’s grievances and complaints; provide guidance if necessary.
• Liaise with line departments to ensure that appraisals are done on time and ensure confirmations.
• Provide administrative support in preparation of correspondence, reports, schedules, confidential materials and various employee issues.
