and sectors on compliance with Unit SHE Policy, Framework and Standards •Provide oversight, support,
advice and guidance to Coordinators relating to the application and delivery of the SHE policy and Standards
•Assist risk assessors and become part of the Risk Assessment Team •Provide competent advice on the safety
aspects of the country legislation, approved codes of practice and standards, and information from interested
parties and professional bodies which may have an impact on operations •Ensure the integrity of the data
held on Intranet Site including validation and accuracy audits and collate statistics and management reports
from these sources •Support the Function by providing a single central source of competent advice on all
SHE issues, ensuring consistency of approach by applying the designated standards •Carry out “Contractor
Assessments” of Service Contractors in accordance Standard •Provide competent advice and guidance at
SHE Committee Meetings •Assist in the attainment and maintenance of relevant international standards as
set by the Business i.e.18001/14001 •Develop and deliver workplace specific training courses, or to support
a particular program or improvement •Manage the area assign budget and advise on the recommended
spending.
1. Develop and create methods, processes and procedures to enable BAE Systems Saudi Arabia (BAESA)
to comply with Group and Corporate SHE Standards. 2. Provide SHE process and procedure advice to
all locations which will include SHE training to area SHE Co-ordiantors. The training will include SHE

auditing, Group SHE Standards and processes, and the use of desktop reporting procedures such as SHE
Oracle and CSR Reporting. 3. Support the SHE Managers to provide a single central source of advice on
all SHE issues across BAESA, ensuring consistency of approach in applying the designated standards. The
role includes a high degree of monitoring trends and where applicable identifying options to address any
issues. 4. On behalf of the SHE Manager, ensure all Health and Safety related reporting to both Group and
Corporate are submitted in a timely and accurate manner. 5. To ensure the integrity of the data held on SHE
Intranet and CSR Reporting, (including validation, accuracy and currency audits). 6. To review monthly
inputs by all BAESA locations, to collate statistics and management reports from these sources to support the
reporting by from the Head of SHE to VP HR & Business Operations, Group and corporate. 7. Be involved
as an individual and/or member of a team in providing professional assistance the following services: •
Hazard identification • Risk Assessment •Accident / Incident Investigation and Reporting
The SHE Coordinator is the initial and principal point of contact and professional advice for all Safety,
Health & Environment related matters. In addition the role requires the post holder to: • Ensure compliance
with relevant laws and company policy in matters relating to SHE. • Engage with all relevant stakeholders
on matters of SHE policy and practice. • Promote the safety, health and wellbeing of all our employees and
stakeholders. • Support the SHE Function in the promotion and attainment of the business and corporate SHE
objectives. • Implement and promote local, Functional and Corporate SHE initiatives. • Any other reasonable
duties required by your line manager.
