Rationalize number of suppliers and move to systems & aggregate supplies to bring in significant improvements in Product Quality, access to newer technologies, reduction of fixed costs and inventory levels

a) Managed materials operations for Machined, Sheet metal & fabricated, forging parts for Bullet motorcycle with an annual procurement volume of 30000 nos.
b) Administrating RFQ’s, Evaluating the Quotations, Negotiations, Finalising the pricings and releasing Purchasing orders.
c) Analyze material requirements through MRP forecasts and/or special requirements and initiate purchasing action based the needs and control on inventory.
d) Handled various new part developments viz., swing arm assly, Fork tubes, Handle bars, mainshaft, layshaft, sprockets etc., for 50 cc projects.
e) Developed various components viz., Fuel tank assly, Side faring etc., for the new VOB project as per the Target Cost.
f) Involved in the development of System buying (Aggregate development) - viz., Flywheel assly, Frame assly, Exhaust systems, Wheel assly, Handle bar assly, Seat assly etc., Thereby reducing the part count, inventory reduction, space saving, reducing inspection cost and accruing other intangible benefits.
