I worked as a Quantity Surveyor. Role of my job duties are as bellow.
o Taking off quantities for the civil works, MEP and Interior fit out works for verifying the BOQs for Lump sum Projects.
o Preparation of MEP BOQs by itemizing the lump sum items in the BOQs.
o Complete review of Tender and contract documents issued by the Consultants and raised tender queries.
o Preparation of necessary Schedules and Reports for pre contract purposes.
o Preparation of Bills of Quantities for Lump Sum Items.
o Assisting to Tendering Manager and Commercial Manager to Preparation of Preliminaries for the Projects.
o Complete review of Tender and contract documents issued by the Consultants and preparation of General Requirements (Preliminaries) for the projects.
o Preparation of General Requirements (Preliminaries) breakdowns accordingly.
o Prepare, submit and review monthly Valuations with consultant.
o Identification of variations, additional works and extras claims and Issue notice of variations.
o Preparation of variation, new rates and certification from consultant.
o Preparation of quantities based on approved shop drawings.
o Rate analysis for variation items.
o Prepare Subcontract payment.
o Preparation of quantities based on approved shop drawings.
o Studying the price quotations received from suppliers and subcontractors.
o Estimation of additional works according to the instructions from Client/Consultant.
o Prime cost adjustments
I worked as a Quantity Surveyor. Bellow are the role of my duties.
o Prepare monthly Valuations and issue to consultant.
o Take off quantities for finalize the Project BOQ.
o Quantification of all work done at site for preparation of interim payment statements.
o Rate analysis for variation items.
o Prepare Subcontract payment.
o Report to project manager and assisting for corresponded related works.
o Assist to preparation of variation, new rates and certification from consultant.
o Preparation of quantities based on approved shop drawings.
o Assist to identification of variations, additional works and extras claims submitted to consultant.
o Prepare monthly cost re conciliation - make joint measurements for each and every item of BOQ.
o Study the price quotations received from suppliers and subcontractors.
o Estimation of additional works according to the instructions from Client.
o Preparation of Final Account Statements
I worked as a Site Engineer. The role of my duties are as follows.
o Place the material orders.
o Setting out work.
o Preparing bar bending schedules.
o Monitoring and supervision of project.
o Attend to the construction meetings.
o Preparation of Interim payment applications.
o Preparation of variation accounts and final accounts.
o Site management, Work planning and Safety aspects.
o Preparing project proposal, program, progress control, progress report and also preparing bills.
