•Project Details: This Project scope comprise of 3 different packages such as Power Block (Gas Turbine & Steam Turbine Area), GIS Buildings (400kV, 220kV& 132kV) & Sea Water Intake Pumping Station (RO & MSF) / Seal Weir Pit.
Power Block work package consist of vast scope of works such as 6- Nos of GTG Foundations & 4- Nos of STG Foundations, 10- Nos of Local Electrical Buildings with 10- Nos of Main & Auxiliary Transformers, 6 -Nos of HRSG Foundations, 2 Nos of Gas Turbine buildings, Steam Turbine Building, Main Electrical Building, Workshop, Fuel Gas Shelter, Warehouse, SWG Building, Duct Bank, Cable Trenches and other Miscellaneous Foundations & Structures

• Project Value for Civil Scope of Works: USD. 150 Million ( Qatari Riyal 550 Million)

Job Responsibilities:

• To supervise and manage all QA/QC functions in the workplace and manage a team of QC engineers and inspectors for day to day QA/QC functions.

• To identify/access the QC requirement for the project (Ex. Resources, procedures, documentation etc., ) and liaise with Project QC Manager/ Operation and QC Department for its compliance.

• To conduct inspection of raw materials, bought out items and review of Material Test Certificates (MTC) and the specification requirements.

• To interface and coordinate with Operation and Clients for QC matters and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.

• To prepare Quality Control procedures, Inspection Test Plans (ITP) according to project requirements and client specifications; follow-up for its approval.

• To plan and supervise Subcontractor inspection activities and reviews of Sub Contractor QC performance.

• To supervise staff for reporting, recording and inspection activities.


• To act as a focal and coordination point for ISO internal and external audits and to conduct internal and operation audits.

• To have a proactive approach in problem solving in their respective discipline.

• To apply good practical knowledge in interpretation of Standards and Codes used in the respective discipline of specialization (Ex. Civil, Structural, Buildings, )
