Working as Project Engineer in Pak German Engineers JV ZAMTAS International, Lahore for Supply, installation, testing , commissioning and maintenance of platform screen doors (664) in Bus Rapid Transit System (Metro Bus System), Lahore.
• Pre-Bid meetings, preparation of technical and financial bids.
• Technical and financial pre-qualifications.
• Assisted client in opening of LC with the supplier in Australia.
• Preparation, submission and approvals of conceptual drawings and technical submittal.
• Communication with suppliers in Australia and Pakistan.
• Supervision for installation of Steel, paint, aluminum, glass, platform screen doors, related electrical and control equipment.
• Worked on concept, design, programming and installation of control system to manage the operation of platform screen doors.
• Meetings with client (TEPA, LDA) and consultant M/S NESPAK for approvals and progress updates.
• Testing and commissioning of the project with consultant M/S NESPAK, client TEPA and handling over to Punjab metro bus authority.
• Preparation of operation and maintenance plan for two years defect liability period.
• Ongoing supervision of O&M staff for two years defect liability period.
Working as Project Engineer in Pak German Engineers JV ZAMTAS International Lahore for Establishment of Signal priority system /Intelligent Transport System in Bus Rapid Transit system (Metro Bus System), Lahore.
• Pre-bid meetings, preparation of technical and financial bids.
• Communication with technical staff and consultants in Australia.
• Attended SCATS training sessions by QTC Australia.
• Installation of QTC traffic controllers at eight intersections to control traffic signals while giving priority to metro bus.
• Communication of QTC controllers with SCATS software installed at central facility using gluon controller and optical fiber network.Establishment of parallel link using GPRS/Wimax technology for SCATS communication with intersection
controllers.
• Establishment of GPS based time synchronization for traffic controllers.
