PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Having more than 2-years experience of plant safety in a GRP pipes manufacturing company. Fully familiar with ILO Recommendations R164 and Conventions C155.
Duties
 To develop awareness among employees about the necessity of a safety programmed in their routine activities.
 To develop the company's documentations like H&S Policy, Waste Management Plan, Emergency Plan and action plans etc.
 Prepare Weekly safety reports returns for submission to Plant Manager.
 Prepare Accident / Incident reports to find out the causes and adopting proper preventive measures.
 To investigate all Accidents & Near misses for root causes & recommendations to prevent similarities.
 Prepare Activity Risk Assessment to all jobs before the start of any job with the Plant Manager and workers.
 Ensure conducting Tool Box Meeting for Worker and supervisors.
 Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all employees at the required area and situations.
 Ensure all Work to permit conditions are fully adhered.
 Inspect equipment, machineries and tools to ensure its safest and proper use to avoid and bypassing of safety devices.
 Ensure the needs of training for new employees such as fire safety drills, first aid training and refresher training.
SUMMARY OF SKILLS:
 Experience in analyzing equipment design and recommend modification.
 Extreme knowledge of the safety regulations applied in industrial setting
 Familiarity with engineering design and construction processes
 Understanding of building materials and equipment
 Skilled in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
 Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
