Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and developing, operational, and personnel policies and procedures, ensuring that the warehouse is operating efficiently and
Ensure that warehouse supervisors direct warehouse employees in the proper storage, inventory, and handling in and out goods within specified productivity, cost and quality standards. Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively and effectively.
Management of complex warehousing facilities to include semi-automatic warehouses, custom designed storage areas, high rack storage, bulk storage, fixed bin storage and all other commonly used storage areas • Definition and adaptation of a limitless variety of storage bins for use in your specific warehousing complex •
Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; spare parts; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. • Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. • Management of different storage areas, stock categories, batch numbers, material numbers, special stock indicators, material flows, quantity flows.
Implementation of a variety of put-away and picking strategies including self-designed strategies
• Monthly management report preparations and review material cost, lead time for imports, forecast and detention cum demurrage cost.
• Daily review with team & monitoring On time imports shipment clearance and delivery to the plant
• Co-ordinate with customs, CHA, & Transports , Co-ordinate with plant for rejections
• Full fill all statutory requirements in place for purchase, imports, customs and Exims.
• Target & Budget for annual material and all other costing.
• Department internal & external audit preparations & co-ordinations
• Vendor rating, ABC, BOM Pricing, Approved vendor, Landed Cost and Vendor Rating.
• Logistics RFQ, Contract & Negotiations for Ocean freight, CHA, domestic
Transportations.
• Identify all Indian ports resources, customs clearances, legal aspects conduct road survey to plan for ODC cargo movements.
• Control plan for demurrage & detention charges for import shipments
• Establish the SEZ & FTWZ -in terms of handling cost, warehouse cost, transport cost,
• Lead time and other all statutory requirement with in optimized cost.
• Handling of customs with all requirements and meeting, handling experience in customs house, port & port traffic, exim policy and DRI for our import Shipments.
• Registration of “Advance License”; “Status Holder Certificate”; “Incentive Scheme’ and Co-ordinate with all internal and external support functions.
• Handling of Port operations, Traffic control, interacting, Bonding & De-Bonding process, warfare, CFS and other all.
• Insurance & survey for all company imports. Drafting for Exports and support for docs & logistics planning.
• Marine policy & all other ODC requirement for FTA trading requirements to the Organizations.
