• I serve as a member of Estimation Department who handle and support tendered project ranging from 0.2 to 500 Million AED for the construction and rehabilitation of main pipeline networks, pumping stations & Road related works.
• I serve a member in pre-contract activities & cost estimation with a winning bid ratio of 1:6 valued up to 500 Million AED.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain sub-contract data base
• Maintain material supplier’s database
• Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare tender
• Preparing tender queries and addendums.
• Brief study of tender documents (specifications/tender drawings) and estimating quantities.
• Take off quantities and preparing/verifying bills of quantities
• Preparing detailed breakup for lump sum contract.
• Prepare and sub-contract and material enquiries
• Floating enquiries to subcontractors /suppliers and follow-up for quotations.
• Scrutinizing and assessment of quotations upon receipt and verifying subcontractor quotation whether they comply specification and drawings and preparing comparison statements.
• Coordination with superiors and colleagues for preparation of proposals and presentation of the scope of works.
• Ability to price different trade of civil engineering in building or infra-structure, like excavations, concrete, blockworks, woodwork, finishes, drainage, external works and hard landscaping, etc.
• Complete tender documents for submission
• Through knowledge of market conditions and price escalation and updating Tender /Estimation Department data bank.
• Maintaining interpersonal relations among all the departments
• Attending site team’s queries on awarded projects and providing right clarifications.

1. Awarded 433 Million for the DS-188 Jebel Ali Industrial Sewerage & Drainage System (Main Pipeline Networks up to 2000 mm dia. of 65Km Sewer, 91Km Stormwater and 17Km Micro-tunneling)
2. Awarded 305 Million AED for the DS-189 Al Khawaneej 2nd Sewer age & Drainage System and a 155 Million AED for the Additional Rising Main
3. Awarded 88 Million Dirhams for the DS-204/1 Sewerage and Drainage System for Dubai Land Area (Al Barari Majan and City of Arabia)

The project consists construction of Dubai municipality Sewerage & House connection pipelines with open cut and NDM methods GRP (400 mm to 1000 mm ø) with Manholes. Supply, installation, commissioning, testing and completion of all discipline Works.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Monthly Interim payment application, Commercial Reports, Variations, Sub contractor payment certification and Final statements.
• Complete responsible for the contractual issues, correspondence, participate in commercial and contractual meetings with client and contractors.
• Able to recognize desirable contract terms and provisions and identify areas and incidents of noncompliance with existing contracts.
• Checking of monthly Invoices of sub-contractors, review of variation order, Administration of sub contracts and correspondence of contractual matters of all required documents like scope of works & Bill of Quantities.
• Attending and preparing weekly progress reports, meetings, Minutes of meetings and monthly reports.
• Follow up the finalization of projects outstanding issues with relate to contracts and quantity surveying department with Contractors and Client.
• Performing site inspections for work when necessary in close liaison with project team to establish new rates
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities.
• Preparing BOQ from architectural and structural drawings and estimating project cost and various materials required for that project.
• Preparation of variation orders consequent to the design changes.
• Responsible for the maintenance of pre and post tender documents.
