• Directly responsible for achieving bookings, revenue, and gross margin objectives for the division.
• Establishes new and maintains personal contact with ministries, government authorities, and key customers to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Conducts market surveys and competitor analysis as well as targeting potential clients, and expanding the current accounts.
• Provides timely, accurate and complete feedback to the management regarding market, projects, clients, competitors and division performance.
• Maintains and updates the division’s contact database in an accurate and activity details.
• Secures the full project details from clients to be discussed with management and technical team in terms of the client and the consultant contacts, project details, scope of work, technical specifications, …etc.
• Provides accurate and clear information to the Technical Design Team to ensure that a proper and timely design and proposal are prepared.
• Follows up with the technical team for the price calculations and preparation of technical and commercial bids including requisite documentation.
• Follows up all the required approvals from the consultant and the authorities.
• Engages with the operation team to ensure all the information gathered and agreed during the sales cycle is successfully implemented.
• Participates in following up with the operation team for the invoicing and payments collection
Scrutiny of tender documents
Study the specifications and drawings and estimate the quantities.
Receive the inquiry details from the sales. Maintain the inquiry record.
Verify the contents of inquiry documents received from sales and intimate the sales of any missing documents within 24 hours.
Prepare the BOQ based on the estimation from drawings.
Propose costing on the basis of comparison with different vendors and design options.
Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers
Upon the confirmation of the LOI, prepare the technical submittal and to confirm the technical submittal approval.
Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product
Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies
Maintaining Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records
Delegating Draftsmen for quantity take offs, cross checking quantities
Pricing for electrical / mechanical / plumbing systems
Assisting in compiling of tenders
Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionnaires
Attend technical trainings and product training from vendors.
Entrusted with the responsibility of providing the fire protection design and preparing the Bill of quantities based on local Civil Defence Authority requirement, NFPA and other International codes, supplying the products ranging from Fire Pumps (Reddy Buffalo, Peerless & NAFFCO UL listed and Civil Defence approved Fire Pump Sets), Sprinklers, Fire Alarms to Voice Evacuation and projects across Middle East territories.
Key experience in the design and estimation of Water based sprinkler, standpipe and fire hydrant system, water and foam based deluge system, gas suppression system using HFC227ea, IG55 pro-inert, C02 gas suppression systems.
Excellent skills in the design and estimation of fire alarm and detection system, Public address and voice evacuation system, VESDA, normal and central battery emergency and exit light systems.
Hands-on experience in the design and estimation of some major Substation, Industrial, Oil and Gas, Commercial and Residential Projects.
Interacting with the Clients, Civil/ MEP Consultants, MEP Contractors for Fire Protection of the projects undertaken.
Providing Product Knowledge and In-depth technical details to all contractors and consultants to enhance business prospects and brand visibility.
Technical Discussion with the Clients/ Consultants/ Contractors and the Civil Defense Authority
Customizing specifications for all Fire Fighting Systems and Components as per Consultants requisites.
Contract Negotiations for finalizing the projects between the first and the second party.
Preparation of Fire Fighting, Sprinkler System, FM 200 system, Inert gas system, Foam system, Water spray system, Pump room system design Layout, (Including Fire Fighting, External Hydrant System, Sprinkler System and HFC227EA Gas fire suppression system with Schematic Diagram)
Preparation of Fire Fighting pump room layout with piping Arrangement.
Preparation of HFC227 and IG calculation with Fike Software key.
Coordination of firefighting system with other MEP services.
Preparation of Hydraulic calculation with Hass metric program.
Preparation of P & ID for Firefighting & sprinkler system.
Preparation of BOQ for firefighting, sprinkler system & Gas system.
