• Understand and interpret contract agreements and scope of technical requirements for projects/proposals & tender documents.
• Review of the project scope of work, material specifications, and drawings for any conflict with the requirement of the Quality standards and advise to the Engineering Department to initiate the corrective actions with the client prior to commencement of work
• Coordinate with Procurement Team & Construction team for timely delivery and completion of projects.
• Coordination with Consultant design, survey, engineering design and execution team.
• Creating schedules for the documents upload & uploading documents on portal, Handling DCI (Document control index).
• Preparation of Daily, weekly and monthly progress report.
• Participating in Weekly and monthly review meetings of Client/PMC.
• Preparation of minutes of meeting and reporting it to the reporting manager.
• Conducting monthly review meetings with contractors to review the project progress and resolve any issues, thereby ensuring the smooth execution of the project. Also, ensuring for submission of Quarterly Material reconciliation to Stores and Finance to ensure timely recoveries
• Hands-on experience of working with ASME B31.1, API 1104
• Installation of 26” crude oil pipeline by micro tunneling (Jack Pushing method).

• Preparing reports PPR (Preparation of project progress report), MPR (Monthly Progress Report) & DPR (Daily Progress Report).
• Conducting monthly review meetings with contractors to review the project progress and resolve any issue, thereby ensuring the smooth execution of the project. Also, ensuring for submission of Quarterly Material reconciliation to Stores and Finance to ensure timely recoveries
• Steel & PNG network installation & Commissioning of Industrial, commercial & domestic customers.
• Checking and certifying bills claimed by contractors.
• Exposure to Permit to work system & safety inspection & implementation of safety plans/procedures of the Organization.
• Coordination with client & consultant, preparing plans for fabrication erection & commissioning.
• Direct marketing for PNG registration for HPCL (Howrah Hooghly GA)
• Enforce safety procedures, and HSE plan, and conduct surprise safety audits on site to achieve zero LTI
• Preliminary Rout Survey, Technical Feasibility of area for laying & Installation of MDPE and GI pipes.
• Monitoring and conducting meeting for progress on daily and monthly basis with subordinate and client. Implementation of project specification and quality standard.
• Overall Quality Control Management & Quality inspection and Quality Audits at site.
• Incoming material inspections & documentation.
• Updating of Site documents and ensuring that site works are executed as per latest drawings.
• Contractor bill certification Monitoring projects with respect to Cost, Resource Deployment, Time over-runs, Quality Compliance & Manpower.
• Co-ordination with local administration for smooth running of project and hindrance free for timely completion of project.
• Proper communication with Client for on-going construction activities and availability of pipes and other related materials.
• Ensuring that entire work is performed in accordance with the procedure, Proper Standards and Codes.

• Responsible for Piped Natural Gas (PNG) network development to provide PNG to all Domestic, Industrial, and Commercial customers.

• Lead the Project Executing team in all aspects like Planning, Designing, Pipeline Construction, and Commissioning.
• Conduct a route survey to check the network feasibility to cover the maximum potential with minimum laying and safety requirements.
• Conduct weekly site meetings, participate in monthly review meetings, and highlight the issues holding up the project to higher management.
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling all day-to-day site activity of the PNG network and addressing Resource/Technical/HSE-related issues.
• LMC conversion testing, GI/ERW Riser testing.
• Construction of steel crossing, installation of Transition fittings as per code of practice.
• Purging and testing work.
• Checking of planning drawings & as built drawings.
• Verifying vendor bills & material reconciliation.
• HDD work inspection.
• Steel Nallah/Culvert crossing inspection

• Inspection of field sites to observe and evaluate the condition and operability of facilities and to collect field survey data and measurements.
• Planning and Execution of Project activities related to PNG.
• Identifying the Hazards and taking Risk Assessment to control them.
• Monitoring day-to-day site activities and ensuring all Project activities are being carried out as per the MGL Code of Practice.
• Performing HSE and Safety Inspections in activities (Work at height, MDPE laying, HDD, Moling, GI/ERW riser work & LMC work)
• Assistance in pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.
• Plumber & Welder qualification tests.
• ERW welding section of the risers, Electrode quality check.
• 6” Stel pipe line laying inspection work from CGS to DRS

• Making an efficient daily work plan. Supervision of MDPE & GI pipe laying and installation.
• Installation of Service regulators, domestic meters & MDPE/GI/Copper pipes as per MGL Standard of practice.

• Maintaining safety at work while working, ensuring each & every person is having their Personal Protective Equipment.

• Implementation of HIRA (Hazard identification & Risk Assessment) at site.
• Safety checks of work at height work, Petzl inspection before commencing the work.
• Exposure to Permit to work system & safety inspection & implementation of safety plans/procedures of the Organization.
• Take action to achieve the target as per schedule Progress reporting to the Project Manager.
