• Working as Leader of team for implementation of Asset Performance Management (APM) methodologies including Reliability
Centered Maintenance 2 (RCM2), Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Bad Actor (BA) Elimination, Performance Killers (PK) Management,
perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Reliability Risk Management (RRM).
• Performing data analysis through Reliability Growth Analysis (RGA), Reliability Distribution Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA),
Weibull Analysis, Reliability incident management system and Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) modeling.
• Providing technical expertise to associated divisions to identify and resolve the Reliability issues of equipment category specialized:
Rotating/ Static/Control systems/Electrical/Process.
• Utilizing the engineering resources and complying with reliability engineering process and programs all over the plants.
• Working with GE-Digital, Siemens Energy, Aveva, Aspen Tech and DNV for evaluation of Reliability software to be rolled-out.
• Responsible to train team members over Reliability to develop their capabilities for achieving Reliability KPI’s.
• Facilitate and perform as core team member of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Bad Actor (BA) Elimination, Reliability Instrumented System (RIS), Asset Master Plan (AMP), Reliability Walk (RW), Asset Aging Assessment (AAA) and Reliability Management Framework (RMF).
• Perform data analysis through Reliability Growth Analysis, FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), Wei-bull Analysis, Six Sigma (6σ) Implementation, RAM (Reliability, Availability & Maintainability) modeling and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
• Provide technical expertise and assistance to technical and operational divisions on all matter related to Reliability.
• Participate in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans and criticality assessments.
• Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls and safety systems.
• Lead and facilitate Mitigate Threat to Availability (MTA) workshop with multi-discipline team through Risk Assessment.
• Provide input to a Risk Management Plan that anticipates reliability related risks that could adversely impact plant operation.
• Evaluate RCA reports, criticality studies, equipment strategies, and risk assessments on equipment to ensure consistency and compliance with SABIC procedures and policies.
• Perform Reliability Assessment, Reliability Monitoring for all process equipment including Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument & Control systems.
• To use leadership and expertise in the principle of plant equipment Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to create an environment of continued asset reliability improvement.
• To develop reliability targets, select and plan reliability assurance tasks, risk management, facilitate and participate in the use of reliability tools, such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fitness for Service (FFS) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• To correspond with client operations & maintenance personnel to ensure that reliability in the field is reflective of predications and identifies opportunities for improvements and corrective actions hence loss elimination.
• To coordinate internal and external benchmarking strategies related to the reliability of the facility.
• To work with Production to perform analyses of assets including asset utilization, equipment effectiveness, remaining useful life.
• Lead specific scheme allocated to Reliability Engineering in different disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation.
• Identify, organize and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations.
• Performs statistical analysis of maintenance histories of plant equipment for Bad Actor identification and to improve the reliability, availability, and maintainability of equipment.
• To ensure safe work practices at plant among staff and strict compliance of PTW.
• Member of team to conduct RCA (won best RCA award 2014), PSSR, PHA, MOC, MSA, HAZOP and JSA.
• Authorized permit to work issuer and receiver, internal auditor of ISO 9000:2008 and scaffolding inspector.
• Qualified in all 22 PSM modules (risk based and cultural based) and PSM workshop.
• Implement mechanical reliability & maintenance practices in accordance with OEM and international standards.
• Technical analysis and investigation of the problems with various equipment and decision makings to their trouble-shooting.
• Delivery of high levels of commercial availability within HSE limits and budget for management and tracking of tools.
• To keep updated with new developments, work practices, engineering standards, and industry codes which could affect the plant reliability and maintainability.
• Lead all mechanical reliability & maintenance activities associated with defect and planned reliability & maintenance programs, through a team of site based engineers, technicians with support from contract staff.
• Maintain history of equipment considering FRACAS and executing PM, CM, RTF, Pd.M. & RCM depending on criticality and cost optimization developing SMART recommendations for mechanical equipment (especially Compressor / Turbines) at the plant.
• Technical analysis and investigation of the problems with various equipment and decision makings to their trouble shooting.
• Minimizing breakdowns of Compressors and Turbines increasing MTTF, devising progressive plans to increase the MTBF, reducing MTTR and ensuring complete compliance of industrial codes.
• Management of the LTMC with respect to planned and unplanned mechanical outage services of gas turbines.
• Prepare Capital (CAPEX) and Operating (Revenue) budgets by identifying specific items to be included in budget submission.
