Working as Assistant Production Manager in Omore’ Ice Crean Business of Engro Foods, a Subsidiary of Engro Corp, with more than 1300 employees, and PKR 40 billion revenue company for the year 2012, the biggest and fastest growing conglomerates in Pakistan with a vision to cater to local needs with products conforming to global standards. Major responsibilities includes following:

• Splitting weekly production plan in daily plan for arrangement and issuance of materials for production lines keeping spare time for maintenance of production lines in pro-active manner.
• Supervising and managing other supporting functions during the shift i.e. power, utilities, process plant etc. for smooth and efficient production results.
• Manpower arrangements according to production lines change over, accommodate changes in production plans and monitoring labor cost KPI to be in limit against per liter ice cream produced.
• Carrying out trainings and sessions regarding Safety, Quality and Manufacturing Hygiene on the basis of weekly and monthly KPI reports as well as implementation of TPM on production floor.
• Arrangement of mechanical and instrumentation team to neutralize breakdown in minimum lowest time. Coordinate with equipment and process teams and ensure compliance to all protocols and maintain product quality.
• Keeping team motivated and accelerating by celebrating achievements and on launch of new innovations.
• Calculation of raw and packaging material losses and their neutralization via focused improvement projects.
• Learnt about ice cream processing and production technology, the working of freezer, production machines working, speed calculations and performances and moulded and extruded technology for producing different ice cream SKUs.
• Maintaining records of all data attendance and provide effective training to all staff members.
• Preparing vacation schedule for all employees and ensure no effect to production.
• To manage and prioritize all production processes and implement all production plans. Ensuring compliance to all local and company’s policies to achieve all production objectives and provide appropriate feedback to all employees.
