As Senior Electrical Engineer - Sales & Marketing, I am responsible and handle sales & marketing of the company’s different products in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The companies/suppliers which I am handling include FAI Officine di Carvico, NDT Global, CDI, Welker, Cofimco, Aeromeccanica and Graco. The products/services include ILI pipeline inspection & pipeline equipment i.e. scraper traps, QOC, pig tracking tools, gas and oil samplers, axial fans, fluid handling pumps and etc.
The brief job description is given below:
• Manage the company registration process in clients systems to increase the customer base by obtaining vendor number which is mandatorily requirement in order to register and receiving inquiries from customers.
• Manage the prequalification process with customers to get qualified for existing and new areas of business and customers in order to receive bid invitations.
• Manage the customer's Enquiries and Orders in order to increase order inflow/order book by timely responses to RFQ’s with competitive quotations will only enable to receive customer orders
• Manage the bidding process to effectively participate and win more bids as every bid needs to be reviewed and monitored in detail in order to prepare technical & commercial estimates and timely bid submission.
• Manage and working to solve customer complaints and gather and analyze customer feedback in order to increase customer satisfaction.
• Analyze and report the lost business (Bids) in order to improve future performance in winning bids
• Prepare and submit to management a yearly business development/forecast plan in order to enhance company growth.
• Update regularly and maintain company Brochures, Presentations, Advertisements and other promotional materials in order to improve the company’s image.11. To prepare agreements and maintain regular contacts with all business associates and partners in order to generate business.
Work as a Sales & Marketing Engineer in Bahrain office which includes:
• Represent ATEF in International Market especially in the Middle East, Asia and African regions.
• Negotiate and Dealing with the potential customers, technical heads and develop relationship with key decision makers in the client organization in order to assess opportunities with the company, therefore, acting as primary focal point with the client.
• Well-versed with tendering procedures and bid preparation related to the contracting and Electrical - Power & Energy fields (especially P&D) and highly experienced to deal with the purchase and procurement departments (private companies & government entities).
• Strategic Consulting, including inspection, production, testing and commissioning, business plans and the strategic approach towards developing new projects.
• Identify new business and partnership opportunities & formulate and execute local sales strategies for both, private and government sectors.
• Responsible for corporate in the preparation of technical proposals, business development and marketing strategies.
• Working on a Pre-qualification documents in Bahrain for selling and participate in tenders of LV/HV electrical equipments in GCC.
Work as a GIS & Distribution System Engineer in PDP Project that includes:
• GIS Mapping of HT(High Tension) and LT(Low Tension) lines.
• Analyze and simulate the model builds to reduce losses.
• Installation Electrical Equipments.
• Take Remedial Measures.
• Association with Consumer Census Team.
• Work as a Team Leader in GIS Mapping PESCO project.
• As a Trainer of USAID gave Training Sessions to WAPDA Employes and Representatives for Power Distribution Improvement and GIS Mapping.
Work as a Site Inspector for Electrical Works in following projects:
➢ 132KV Grid Station, Qasim Bagh, Multan.
➢ 132KV Grid Station, Wapda Town, Multan.
I have been responsible for overall site activities of above mentioned Projects. However the main activities are listed below: • Erection/Installation of Steel Structure and HV Equipment.
• Laying and Termination of Control & Power Cables.
• Entire Earthing of Substation.
• Involved in General Testing & Commissioning of HV Equipment.
Work as a Trainee Engineer on two Projects:
• Transmission Department (Installation, Testing and etc)
• BTS Tower program (installation)
• Power Pat Test (Battery banks Test) approves from Exchange by PTCL & OF Team.
