 Managing all pre-commissioning activities for electrical equipment’s in the project including review and approval of all pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and forms.
 Witnessing all pre-commissioning activities in the substation and field as per Quality Control Form, Standards, and vendor procedure
 Suggesting improvements in design review/Approval of engineering documents and drawings, ECC and CCC packages, as-built documents etc. Review and follow-up on Punch Lists, NCRs & Observation Notes
 Witness Testing & Commissioning of Emergency Diesel Generator, Switchgears, Power Transformers, Motors, Power Panels, EMCS, DCS & ESD Panels, VFD, DC & AC UPS, HVAC Panels, NER Panels, MOV Panels, Cathodic protection panels, On load Tap Changer Panels, Lighting Panels, Heaters.
 Witnessing REF, Bus Differential, Line differential Stability and sensitivity Test of Transformer, Emergency Generator & Cables, Signals, Interlock & Inter trip Schemes
 Review and approval of energization packages, effective implementation of Lock out and tagout (LOTO) procedures and permit to work system.
 Manage Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) walkthrough and punch list closures according to scope and project specifications.
 Review and approval of quality control plan (QCP) /quality control form (QCF) Procedures.
 Effectively monitoring and recording the performance of complete electrical system during start up and operation

 Ensure that the company’s HSE regulations & Electrical safe work practices are adhered to, particularly with regard to switching, isolation of electrical equipment (LOTO), JSA, PSSR, and Risk assessments & ensure compliance with Farabi EHSS regulations. •
 Reviewed maintenance strategy and procedures related to the operation and maintenance of HV/MV/LV electrical equipment to operate the plant electrical systems in a safe & cost-effective manner.
 Provide technical, and engineering inputs, and follow up on work progress for the site project activities including system replacement/upgrade, full field developments, and facility changes.
 Supervise maintenance and repair of all electrical power networks in the total plant.
 Supervise the activities of assigned employees in the Electrical Maintenance unit to ensure work objectives are implemented.
 Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment/plant and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
 Monitor breakdown and maintenance developments and makes recommendations for change or modifications of any part of schedules or procedures and ensure that work is carried out with a minimum of disruption to operating activities.
 Plan work schedules according to malfunctions or breakdowns, establishes work priorities in consultation with operations personnel, and determine requirements in advance for tools, spare parts, and manpower.
 Review and update on regular basis, stocks of spare parts, tools, and materials, forward requisitions to material planning engineers and follow up on all materials and spare parts requisitions.
 Provide technical advice on electrical power and distribution systems; including suggesting modifications to systems (MOC) and assisting in the design of new installations as required.
 Prepare and presents detailed reports on the causes of major breakdowns in the electrical plant, and submit recommendations for the prevention of similar occurrences.
 Participate in the preparation and review of the CAPEX budget for the plant area under direct responsibility.
 Participate in reviewing / engineering & technical evaluation of new spare parts, equipment, documents of new proposed projects, follow-up implementation, and commissioning.
 Actively participate in the MOC review committee & its implementation, and RCA investigation.
 Liaising with Electrical OEMs/EPCs on technical/warranty issues and providing inputs for developing Electrical Service contracts & Technical scope of works.
 Participate in SAT - Site Acceptance Tests, liaise with equipment vendors to solve, and repair problems, upgrade older equipment, to replace obsolete items.
 Inspect final deliverables in projects and services and issue punch lists, and acceptance certificates - accordingly.
 Participate in coaching and guiding local employees of supervisors and electricians and ensure that all performance criteria job qualifications are covered and attend assessment panels, gap analysis sessions, Wrench Analysis, Check sheet auditing, and ways for mitigation / corrective actions.
 Supervise and follow up on the pending Jobs with the planning team and pending delivery items with the procurement team.

Contract through KBR-INC Jubail, Saudi Arabia Electrical Engineer (Operation & Maintenance)
 Participate at the site in major overhauling/fault finding/repair of electrical equipment.  Responsible for the planning and execution of the PM, CM, Fault Investigation, Isolation, and rectification of electrical equipment assigned by the Electrical Lead  Ensure all maintenance works are performed in line with the requirements of workplace health and safety legislation. Ensure that plant equipment & machinery are in good working condition with a preventive maintenanceprogram from the client.  Study and review existing Electrical systems and upgrade equipment/systems where possible to improve the reliability andefficiency of the plants.  Works together as a team with people from maintenance inter disciplines, Operations, HSSE team, and engineering teams toimprove equipment/machinery availability to support operation with safety, quality, and compliance.  Communicate regularly to the Manager and Supervisor about work progress updates, including feedback on possible delays or
conflicts of priorities.  Perform 24x7 standby duties and attend to technical faults (On-call head)  Auditing the weekly check sheets and submitting them to the client.  Upkeep risk registers, take part in safety walk-downs, implement safety initiatives and ensure that good safety practices are practiced by all parties maintenance work
 Review and evaluate completed work orders to optimize equipment life cycle and schedule proactive replacements.
 Track, improves and report key maintenance parameters such as Schedule Compliance, planning degree & Labor Utilization. Prepare workout line and prepare schedules for daily, weekly, monthly & shutdown work activities. Reduced annual maintenance expenses
 Develop and ensure correct preventive maintenance program task list is loaded into (SAP)formulate and track metrics to statistically reflect department performance.  Lead the preparation of monthly/annual requirements for equipment, spare parts, and general materials for the planning unit within the plant to support the timely availability of requirements as per maintenance plans and budget constraints.
 Ensure that all technical documentation for the planning activities is completed correctly including the Log, outlining the fault, method of repair, and the time, labor, and materials used to support the timely availability of information.

Key Result Areas:
 Draft work orders and obtain work permits, together with wiring plans and diagrams from a supervisor  Evaluate jobs and determine materials, equipment, transportation, or other essentials required.  Assist technicians in their work, by examining individual components or circuits to identify faults, carrying out various electrical tests, providing technical instructions, and inspecting complete repair work to ensure functional operation appliances.  Issue comprehensive daily activity reports outlining the cause of the fault, the nature of the work and the materials, labor, and time taken to complete the task.  Operate and maintain the power distribution system i.e. switching operation of the breakers network, main switchgear room, and power distribution substations.  Isolation of electrical equipment and liaising with Supervisor and Production to obtain authority to re-energize once work is complete.
