Scope of Work: Design & Detail Engineering

Responsibilities:

•Preparation of Instrument index according to P&ID/PFD.
•Preparation of data sheets for Pressure, Level, Temperature and Flow transmitters, Control Valves, Positioners, Analyzers, F&G Devices like Toxic/Flammable gas detectors, Flame detectors, Sounder and beacon and Manual call points.
•Preparation of Instrument I/O List
•Preparation of Loop drawings and involved in development of complex loops and logic developments as per cause and effect drawings.
•Prepare and Review of Instrument/Electrical Logic Diagrams and interface drawings.
•Preparation of Interconnection drawings for Junction Box, Marshalling panels, Unit control panels, Local control panels.
•Prepare and Review of Instrument Cable Schedule/Datasheet and Junction Box schedule/Data sheet.
•Preparation of process Hook up diagram and pneumatic Hook up drawings.
•Involved in Control valve, orifice and thermowell sizing and calculations.
•Review of Vendor Cause & Effect and control narratives.
•Review of Vendor Unit Control Panel Layout, Wiring Diagram, Loop and schematic drawings.
•Review of Vendor Control System Specification and I/O Link Mapping details.
•Prepare and Review Interface Block Diagram as per Vendor Scope, Instrumentation Scope and Electrical Scope.
•Reviewing and modifying of Instrument cable tray & Trench routing layout.
•Co-ordination between Mechanical Package, Electrical, Process, Procurement Department.
•Prepare Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) and Technical Query with Concession Request to Company (KOC)
•Preparation of MTO for all project deliverables
•Involved in F&G mapping study.
•Experience on Vendor Package HAZOP Study and Safety Integrity Level (SIL).
•Knowledge of International standards (API, ISA, IEC, ISO, NFPA etc.)
•Involved in attending FAT/SAT for DCS, FGS and ESD system and other PLC based systems.
•Good Knowledge on Foundation Field Bus, HART and Profibus PA protocols.

• Preparation of Instrument index by reviewing the PID & PFD
• Preparation of Instrument I/O List and Instrument specifications.
• Preparation overall & detailed ILDs, Interconnection diagrams and control loop drawings.
• Preparation of cable Schedules, cable data sheet and involved in cable sizing.
• Preparation of JB grouping, Junction box schedule, Junction box details and Junction box termination details.
• Preparation and drafting of Cable tray layout, Cable routing layout, Cable trench cross sectional details and involved in cable tray and trench sizing.
• Preparation of Instrument Datasheet for pressure, temperature, level and flow transmitters, control valves, positioners, F&G detectors and analyzers.
• Preparation of Instrument installation schedule and process Hook up drawings.
• Reviewing of Vendor Packages for Instrument Air Compressor, Plant Air Compressor and Instrument Air Dryer.
• Preparation of Material Take-off list (MTO).
• Preparation of Instrument panel location layout, Console and workstation layout inside control room.
• Reviewing of Level Sketches with respect to KOC Standard.
• Vendor drawing review & Coordination with other disciplines.
• Preparation of Interconnection drawings for Junction boxes, Marshalling cabinets, Unit control panels and Local control panels.

• Involved in proposal, design, erection and commissioning of instrumentation system.
• Preparation of Instrument I/O List, overall & detailed ILDs, Schedules & Interconnection diagrams.
• Preparation of DCS & Instrument panel layout inside control room.
• Vendor drawing review & Coordinating with other disciplines.
• Interaction with Project, Proposal, Procurement & Construction team.
• Preparation of project scope of work.
• Installation, Calibration and Commissioning of Field Instruments, Level transmitter, Flow transmitter, Pressure transmitter, Control Valves, I/P Converters, Pressure Switches, Level Indicators, RTD, Pressure Gauges, Temperature Gauges etc.
• Loop Checking and troubleshooting of PLC Control Panels, DCS etc.
• Techno-commercial evaluation of quotation of various items which are required for project.
• Reviewing various vendor drawings like GA, ILD, Layout plan, Logic diagrams, Schematic diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Terminal block diagrams & BOM.
