Reporting to the Regional Engineering Manager, and leading a team of up to 18 Engineers, responsible for overseeing specialist Projects within the region. Working as the Pre Commissioning - Consulting Engineer, the role is two-fold:
Key Responsibilities - Team Management:
- All aspects of promotion, appraisals, disciplinary issues.
- Ensuring direct reports have clarity about their roles and responsibilities.
- Providing leadership, oversight and guidance to the team.
- Establishing quantifiable and observable performance objectives for direct reports or team members.
- Evaluating performance against established performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities - Technical:
- Developing and managing procedures and processes for specialized services/projects.
- Clarifying and cascading all project scopes of work to the multiple stake-holders.
- Responsible for providing assessments of requests for bids.
- Developing methodology and job equipment, materials and manpower requirements to execute the job.
- Monitoring the progress of the projects and ensuring all safety and quality standards are strictly adhered to, or providing corrective and remedial action to rectify lapses in either.
- Overseeing all tender processes and contractor appointment, compilation of technical submittals, compilation of handover documentation. Reviewing operations and maintenance documentation submitted by contractors.
Ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to actively participate in all Hydratight Health & Safety policies and practices. Providing constructive solutions to problems. Ensuring safety obligations with clients are carried out as per the terms of the agreements, and communicated to those involved.

• Providing Engineering Solutions and Engineering Management Services to support clients in Oil and Gas Industry in Qatar. Up-scaling and providing customized Solutions based on our client’s evolving needs.

• Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing customer potential. Acting as functional consultant for customers, establishing new and maintaining existing long-term relationships with customers
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements, anticipating issues and exceeding their needs. Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery. Presenting and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs.
