Managed all aspects of crewing for Smit Lamnalco marine vessels. Have working knowledge of STCW regulations and managed over 250 crew in different locations including Africa.
Interview, recruitment, training, placement, appraisal, planning crewing schedule / rotation, maintaining crew records / database, prepare monthly report related to crewing, update payroll information & data in personnel management software ‘Shipmate’.
Formulated changes in department which was required due to company expansion and merger.

Joined as trainee / Administrator and later promoted to Operations executive
Assisted commercial Manager with correspondence and other administrative functions. Trained in drafting and preparing contracts, submitting bids, tenders, charter party agreements and legal documents.
Was promoted to Operations executive to be in charge of vessel operations. Planning, coordinating, managing all issues related to vessel husbandry. Was in charge of ensuring vessel is ready in all respects (operations and crewing wise) for charter by clients.
Played an instrumental role in developing and organising operations Management activities. Later was assigned the responsibility of marketing & business development of the cargo vessel.
