• Lead and manage the HSE compliance in the projects, Yard facility in line with the approved HSE plan & Legal requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and surveillance of the implemented system and identify conformity to legal, moral, and economic requirements of the safety management system.
• Responsible for implementation, monitoring, surveillance, and documentation of the HSE requirements of the company interest.

• Preparing project HSE monthly and weekly HSE reports for the Client/ Consultant & Head office.
• Formulating emergency plans, their implementation, coordinating with the Civil Defense, and conducting mock/ Fire drills in the projects as per the requirements.

• Monitored and ensured strict compliance with all HSE requirements at the following sites

•Mechanical works with other associated jobs for SHU GRTA 2006 at Shuaiba refinery KNPC.
•5-year contract for maintenance of instrumentation and control system, Shuaiba refinery KNPC.
•New oil pier north gate facilities, Mina Al Ahmadi refinery, KNPC.

•Strict adherence of company safety regulations with emphasis on working at restricted, hazardous and elevated areas depending on type of area classification.
•Regular safety inspection ensuring site safety administration including safety induction, hazard identification plan, emergency procedures, tool box meetings, incident, accident, fire reports and man hour reports. Preparation and maintenance of all safety reports and records.
•Housekeeping, providing and maintenance of site access signs including emergency exit routes in project site, maintenance of site access roads, construction material involving stacking, storing depending on work progress. Storage of construction equipment, tools. Providing of site requirement for drinking water, toilets, dining hall, sick room with first aid amenities etc.
•Fire prevention using adequate number of approved type of fire extinguishers including periodical inspection and their revalidation. Training all personnel on usage of fire extinguishers and applicable safety precautions and procedures in line with existing company procedures.
•Providing overall site safety requirements such as personal protective equipment, proper work tools for construction, proper certified equipment, conducting daily and periodic toolbox meeting, equipment check list verification, first aid check etc.
•Controlling the work place hazard by preparing hazard checklist pertaining details of existing hazards. Identification of hazards and preventing accidents by ranking the hazards to its risk level.

-Strict adherence of Company Safety Regulations with emphasis on working at restricted, hazardous and elevated areas depending of type of area classification.
-Regular construction safety inspection ensuring site safety administration including safety induction, Hazard identification plan, emergency procedures, tool box meetings, incident / accident / fire reports & man-hour report. Preparation and maintenance of all safety reports and records.
-Safety and emergency response training is provided to offshore construction personnel in helping to save lives and prevent lives from being placed at risk at all times.
-Controlling the work place hazards by preparing hazard checklist pertaining details of existing hazards. Identification of hazards and preventing accidents by ranking the hazards to its Risk level.
-Training of all construction personnel for using breathing apparatus and gas mask incase of toxic gas exposure. Educating construction personnel with the use of gas detector and alarms, safe exposure limit etc.
-Obtaining Company work permits such as Excavation permit, confined space entry permit, hot work permit including vehicle entry, elevated work requirements on daily / weekly basis depending on project requirements.
-Training of all construction personal for fire fighting, explosive ordinance identification / disposal, safety drill, emergency evacuation procedures and all other safety requirements of company in line with existing regulations and rules from time to time.

•Looked after construction safety at the project for the erection of the sulfur recovery unit at Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Chennai.
- Monitor safety during construction projects- Conduct Job Safety Analysis for critical activities.
- Accident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis, being part of investigation committee.
- Organize drill for fire and oil spill emergencies in the refinery unit areas involving employee evacuation.
- Safety Procedure during hot work such as Welding, Gas cutting by verification and inspection of condition of welding, Acetylene pressure, Pressure gauge condition, welding electric holder, grounding connections, welder's protective equipment, welding generators etc.
- Conduct SAFETY Audits

•Worked at the 8x300 MW Sabiya Power Station project for MEW Kuwait
- Safety inspection of scaffolding systems during erection, construction and dismantling by adopting proper tagging system, which shall be approved by Client. Maintenance of approved scaffolding periodically for general conditions, loading access and additional requirements of Client on specific cases such as safety belts, mid rail, toe board, etc.,
- Providing overall Site Safety requirements such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), proper working tools for Construction, proper certified equipment, conducting daily and periodical tool box meeting, equipment check list verification, First aid check, etc.
- Identification, improvement and motivation of Safe worker in each project site as per Company policy.
