Electrical Engineer responsible for System studies including Short Circuit Calculations, Load Flow Analysis, and Motor Starting Analysis for various FEED and detail design projects. Engineering calculations for Illuminance level, Cable Sizing, and Containment Sizing were also done for this projects. I was also responsible for the preparation of Detail design packages for the upgrade and renovation works inside British Petroleum facilities

Preparation of Detail Engineering package for the Electrical installation works inside Seventeen courtyard substations and RT building in EMAL Aluminium smelter complex located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This project involves the installation of lighting and small power panels, Electrical connections to various mechanical equipment, Small power outlets and lighting, associated cabling and containment routing for the substations and RT control buildings. My duties includes the preparation of Detailed Engineering package, attending technical meetings, ensuring any variations and instructions received from client are incorporated, clarifying with consultants regarding any discrepancy between contract documents, Monitoring of Subcontractor’s performance, coordinate site and office activities, follow up with procurement team and to verify the documents are in line with contract specification and requirements.
Another project under my assignment with the same firm was the Design and Installation of Over Height Vehicle Detection System in Dubai Port. The system was designed and programmed using moller PLC. The successful implementation of the system has given more confidence to get involved in innovative projects and new fields of exposure.
As an Electrical Engineer I was responsible for the design of control panels for extrusion units. Electrical Engineer for design of control loops for maintaining steady temperature using thermistors.
A controller for the Flexible Reusable Launch Vehicle was designed during this thesis. Backstepping tool is used to design this controller. This is compared with an existing classical controller and an SDRE controller. During this period I got extensive training in control strategies used for launch vehicle & missile guidance and simulations using MATLAB simulink.
Worked as the Assistant Electrical Engineer with the complete responsibility of the substation.
As the incharge Electrical Engineer the load distribution was effectively managed during the renovation work of the substation with minimum shutdown of distribution feeders ensuring a low demand factor for substation.
