- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies and site investigations
- Managing, supervising and visiting contractors on site and advising on civil engineering issues
- Communicating, supervising and coordinating effectively with colleagues and architects, sub-contractors, contracting civil engineers and clients
- Managing changes, as the client may change their mind about the design, and ensuring relevant parties are notified of changes in the project
- Reviewing and approving contractor’s shop drawings and other submittals
- Attending project site meetings to discuss technical issues and project progress
- Ensuring that the project runs smoothly and completed on time and within the budget
- Ensuring contractor’s work in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications and method statements
- Ensuring Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations are strictly observed during construction inside and out of the construction area
- Submit periodical reports to Dubai Municipality website for contractor’s site performance and deficiencies
To ensure all are being followed as per the approved drawing and specifications during pre- pour mold and steel reinforcement inspection.
- Responsible for inspection and testing activities relevant to products manufactured in
factories or erected at sites by following the approved quality procedures.
- Check deliveries if the panels are in good quality before releasing or sending to site.
- In charge of assisting the consultants of AJES and ZADCO in their pre-pour inspection.
- To help and guide the QC inspectors if they have some difficulties in their works and suggest solutions if possible.
- Reports quality problems or findings to Senior Quality Control Engineer and follows up to
ensure that corrective action has or will take place
- Maintains record of inspections and prepares list of defects, interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification
- Study all drawings and plant capacity to determine which precast elements are in critical
in the given milestone of production
- Prepares rough estimation for advance procurement of materials to be needed to avoid delays
- Plans and prepares production schedules of each product using layout / elevation and
sectional drawings to meet delivery dates according to planned delivery / erection
schedules
- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data to determine the production
Processes including tools and manpower requirements
- Plans and schedules the workflow for each section and operation according to production sequences
- Determines wastage of concrete and reinforcing bars between actual and plan
- Prepares Revenue Report to be submitted to General Manager, Operations manager, Sales
and Accounting Department
- Study all drawings and plant capacity to determine which precast elements are in critical
in the given milestone of production
- Prepares rough estimation for advance procurement of materials to be needed to avoid delays
- Plans and prepares production schedules of each product using layout / elevation and
sectional drawings to meet delivery dates according to planned delivery / erection

Project Head Engineer
- Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; and discuss with management.
- Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information; recommending actions.
- Enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations on Health, Safety Environmental (HSE).

Site Engineer
- Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification
- Liaising with the project planning engineer regarding construction programs
- Checking materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements
- Implementation and observance of safety requirements
- Resolving technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities
- Quality control in accordance with method statements, quality plans and inspection and test plans, all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors
- Liaising with company or project purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements
- Supervising, counselling and assisting cadet engineers
- Providing data in respect of variation orders and site instructions
- Preparing shop drawings, technical reports and site weekly activity plan
