Functions:
• Prepares the “Inspection & Test Plan” (ITP) for all activities on the project in conjunction with the preparation of work Method Statements by the construction team.
• Prepares the “Request for Inspection or Testing (RFIT)” of all activities on the project to be submitted to the client prior site inspections.
• Conducts inspection on activities such as; setting-out/survey works, excavation, structural, concreting, backfilling, finishing works, etc. based on technical standard specifications and project requirements.
• Materials inspections
• Ensures that all corrective and preventive action arising from reported defects or non- conformances is implemented effectively and the correct material/product has been inducted to the permanent works.
• Monitoring of Concrete Quality
• Conducts quality audit to check that site construction plans and specifications were implemented as per quality assurance standards.
• Soil investigation (Field Density Test (FDT)/Soil Penetration Test (SPT))
• Prepares QA/QC documentation and reportorial requirements as per existing QMS.
• Concrete Test Results Evaluation (Compressive and Flexural)
• Conducts surveillance inspections, site visits, quality audits, and the reviews of lessons learned database for the continual improvement on the project.
