JOB/DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Waste Management (Liquid and Solid)
Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
Periodic safety audit of corporate facilities
Preparation and issuance of work permit.
Collation and presentation of bi-weekly safety performance report to management.
Design of safety education and training programs .
Planning and execution of safety drills
Environmental impact Assessment; Evaluation and Implementation
Ensure strict compliance with DPR and other regulatory bodies standards.
Ensure that all safety / fire appliances and extinguishing media are in good working condition and a state of readiness.
Safety performance measurement and evaluation by means of statistical computation of safety and environmental indices.
Conducting accident investigations and reporting.
Conducting HAZOP studies.
Co-ordination of tool box meetings.
Risk Analysis.
Organize project risk management reviews.
Collect and report HSE statistics and analyse HSE performance versus objectives.
Provide safety coverage for loading operations and ensure product evacuation is carried out safely.
Put measures in place for safe product reception.
Provide first aid treatment to employee, contractors and visitors who may be involved in accident.
Ensure at every point in time a personnel is on ground to take care of situations in case of emergency.
Stop any activities that are perceived to be Immediately Dangerous to Life & Health (IDLH).
Ensure every employee, contractor, visitor understands and comply with the company’s safety policy.
Suggests improvements to the HSE procedures, guidelines and tools to enhance performance in HSE.
Assist and advises the Safety manager in all matters pertaining to the health, the safety and the security of personnel, the safeguarding of equipment and the preservation of the environment.
Coach employee in understanding and utilizing Behavioral Based Safety.
2.75. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN INDUSTRIAL SAFETY ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY.
