Identify potential suppliers, gather information, prepare RFQ’s and obtain quotes, Evaluate suppliers and lead in negotiation and other commercial terms.
Analysis of data and prepare reports on supplier performance, inventory details and cost information for taking corrective action.

New supplier selection & Sourcing for commodities viz. Casting, Machined parts and Special process
Castings Handled viz. Aluminum (GDC/PDC), Cast Iron / SG Iron, Steel castings, Carbon Steel Castings.
Responsible for Casting, Special Process, Machined Components Procurement & Costing and Negotiations.
Analyzing the Supply Vs Demand to avoid Excess inventory.
Monitoring the price trends & periodically revising the prices in Purchase contract.
Implementation of vendor managed inventory (VMI) and Two Bin System.
