•Material inspection, verify certifications for consumables & inspection equipment’s calibration certificates.
•Review and approve WPSs for the relevant piping classes.
•Witness welder’s qualifications against project WPSs.
•Enforce material preservation compliance for early piping materials received at site.
•Review coating specifications and inspect/ verify proper application in line with vendor instructions.
•Shall cover both site and fabrication shop scope of work.
•Responsible for ensuring that specification for surface preparation & coating application comply with the project specification for painting/coating documents.
•Adherent to safety practices
•Monitor the coating application of Fusion Bonded Epoxy ( FBE ), 3 Layer Injection Molded Polyurethane ( IMPU ), Chemically Modified Polypropylene ( CMPP ), 3 Layer Polyethylene ( 3LPE ), Heat Shrink Sleeve ( HSS ) & Flame Spray Polypropylene on Field Joints Coating ( FJC ).
•Make random audit report for every production operation - temperature reading for the application & monitor environmental condition.
•Submit all data obtained for recording & reporting.

Provide coating inspection services in accordance to British Gas standard & ensure that the project specification must be followed.
•Painting of raw materials from 1/2" to 132" diameter pipes with approximate total area = 1.2 million square meters.
•Inspection of coating materials.
•Inspection of raw materials before, during and after surface preparation works.
•Checking of coating application works.
•Monitor environmental conditions.
•Check surface profiles of blasting abrasive used and record it.
•Conduct adhesion testing of applied coating materials and submit report.
•Conduct inspection on underground pipelines installations for cooling water supply and return.
•Conduct inspection on site blasting and painting as per test packs with respect to limits.
•Ensure by inspection vessels, columns, exchangers, tanks and related equipments in good appearance as per specification.
