1. To Identify, evaluate & establish vendor based on product, quality production.
2. To co-ordinate with design, planning and quality assurance department for quality and timely supply of items.
3. To purchase capital goods/ plastic raw material/ plastic components/ rubber components /castings/forgings/ engineering goods/ consumables/ sheet metal components/spare parts / jigs/ fixtures/stamping dies /printing/pkg.
4. To develop suitable vendors for new product as well as alternate sources as per required specification.
5. To handle ancillaries for the company.
6. To maintain status reports of the ancillaries.
7. To reduce the line rejections by improving the quality as well as process.
8. To make the proper planning for reducing the delivery time.
9. To co-ordinate with QA department for continues improvement of quality and process at vendor's end.
10. To develop concept of cost reduction and ensure implementation.
