• Proactively soliciting local business for non-residential and catering groups.

• Managing the day-to-day event management team to achieve departmental targets through profitable business relationships which included making contracts with potential clients and other suppliers.
• Yield and Inventory Management for the event spaces at the hotel.
• Leading and Counsel, Conduct Trainings and Appraisals.
• Develop feedback management system to review customer feedback and improve process. Use customer satisfaction survey to improve service delivery.
Achievements
• Re-form and Re-structure the department to make it leaner, efficient and effective.
• Setting up long term lease agreements for office space within low usage venue inventory.
• Introducing the co-working space concept in Jumeriah for the first time.
• First hotel to set up Guidelines and COVID protocols for events. These were replicated in other jumeriah hotels and shared with DTCM.

* Overall in charge of the Grand Hotel Opening of the Grand Hyatt Kochi with more than 5000 pax.
* Surpassing the year departmental budget since the opening by 50%.
* Undertaken marketing activities at the LULU mall with more than 8000 attendees and nearly 2700
opt ins over 12 days.
* Indian Navy Symposium(IONS) attended by over 32 nations with their CNS. Hosted by Ministry
of Defence.
* TCS Blitz for the top leadership team of Tata worldwide.800 pax.
The Drifting Canvas, India
The Drifting Canvas was a one-of-a-kind multimedia art exposition that will change how one sees or experiences art
before.
Responsible for leading and developing the sales and sponsorship teams for Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
Educational/Entrepreneurial Sabbatical
Responsible for leading and developing the Events Planning team and Banquet Operations team including
leadership by example, setting standards, recruitment, on job orientation, probation management, performance
planning and review, investigations, training and succession planning.
Other responsibilities includes:-
* Establishing the Events planning team and Banqueting operating team for the pre-opening property.
* Developing forecasts and budgets for the department. Departmental Budget ofAED 5 million.
* Managing the day-to-day event management team to achieve departmental targets through profitable
business relationships which included making contracts with potential clients and other suppliers.
The World`s Tallest Hotelowned by the Emirates Group and the flagship property of Marriott has event facilities
including two large ballrooms and up to 33 meeting & training rooms - over 9500sqm of event space in total. Both the
tower together features1604 bedrooms.
Achieved an SP-rating(Super Performer)in the yearly review.
