Managed, Supervised and Coordinated the design of Electrical works, oversaw the subcontracted design activities, conducted meetings with the client and site/ construction team, liaised with manufactures/ suppliers and compared offers, performed quality control and assurance and ensured the implementation of employer’s requirements.
- Undertake a thorough study of Tender drawing, Specifications & BOQ, followed by estimation of the project.
- Designing containment system for electrical services and the required builder’s works openings for the same.
- Designing of the Electrical system including BMS System, Fire Alarm system, Security system, Lighting controls system, Data/ LAN system & Electrical system pertaining to HVAC system.
- Preparation of technical submittal of materials which is specified in particular project discussions with consultant/ client and taking approvals.
- Preparation of riser drawings, control schematics, data point schedules for MEP systems, design coordination of DDC for HVAC control application like FCU’s, AHU’s, VAV’s, Chillers, heat exchangers, district cooling controls and programming & setup of VFD’s as per the sequence of operation. Have strong knowledge in underlying principles of integration of third party systems like Fire alarm, Lighting control system & Lifts/ Elevators through open protocols like BACnet, Modbus, LON, OPC etc.
- Supervise all execution activities including providing technical inputs on methodologies & coordination with site management activities.
- Execute the installation of ELV/ BMS System & Electrical System.
- Skilled in project planning, manpower management and coordination with suppliers. Attending technical and progressive meetings with consultants, clients and suppliers, constant monitoring of progress of site activities and to take remedial measures to keep in track as per the clients requirement.
- Preparation of riser drawings and shop drawings for access control system, CCTV system, Intruder alarm system and audio and video intercom system. Cross checking of final installation of all the security system components like security cameras, Locks, Card readers, Security keypads, PIR sensors, Audio and Video entry Panels etc as per the approved manufacturer procedures. Commissioning of all the above systems.
- Responsible for Design, development of System configuration and detailed Engineering.
- Technical Datasheets & Document preparation, including sequence of operation, DDC Controller I/O Point distribution list, Point schedule, Cable schedule, BMS Panel GA drawings, BMS/ FAS/ SS design drawings, Field devices mounting drawings, As-Build drawings, Bill of Materials.
- Motorized Valve selection, Motorized Damper actuators selection, Preparation of Fire alarm system Cause & Effect matrix etc.
- Supervision of laying containment, cables, Installation, termination & Commissioning of field device.
- Co-ordination with third party system manufacturers and suppliers, integration BMS with third party system.
- Managed a team of supervisors and technicians, ensuring work done in the site on schedule.
- Preparation of BMS/FAS/SS Graphics.
- Implement the logic (i.e PID blocks, Control loops, switching logic etc) for all equipments specified in the design, programming and downloading the same in the DDC’s as per specifications.
- BMS integration with third party system (i.e FAS, Security system, EM, UPS, etc) through BACnet/ Modbus/ Lonbus.
- Have been oriented with on the job training on various products and applications in relation to the system design and specification on the site.
- Co-ordination with main contractors and sub contractors on various stages of the project.
- Detailed designing of FAS/ SS System.
- Central commissioning and final handing over the project to client.
