Key Deliverables
• Spearheading responsibility for managing the gamut of operations pertaining to evolvement of supply chain policies as well as the implementation of capex and opex process
• Participating in ABP (Annual Business Plan) and overseeing the monthly, quarterly and annual targets (Inventory, Stock Cover, Distribution, Primary / Secondary & Tertiary)
• Controlling Central Purchases with optimum price benefits and maximum offers
• Handling the fleet of vehicles & ensuring a time delivery and monitoring of transit norms
• Monitoring and analyzing the loss in transit and undertaking measures to control
• Handling warehousing space across WestZone
• Ensuring branch satisfaction across all business sectors through product availability and appropriate inventory levels
• Steering efforts towards attaining a timely delivery of products through implementation of Push & Pull Chain System as well as the Just In Time (JIT) technique
• Aiming towards achieving the targeted First Time Case Fill Rate (FTCFR) for each of the stocking points as well as analyzing the root causes leading to lower than the targeted FTCFR
Accomplishments
• Efficiently & effectively handled major vendors like Maersk, Hyundai, Pamplona, C. P. Intertrade, Hanjin Shipping, Del Monte, Nestle, Unilever, P&G distributor, UFC. etc.
• Holds the distinction of defining and implementing Demand Planning / Forecasting system in the organisation; successfully conceptualised and effectuated system of minimum order levels with continuous availability of products.
• Steered initiatives during CAPEX and OPEX procurements especially during CAPEX procurements for Warehouses for Forklift, Metal convertor, Renting services etc.
• Steps taken to improve product delivery i.e., timely Ordering at any given point of situation without any failures, Used BEST shipping line with lowest price, Timely closing negotiations with BEST prices and Choosing Correct product at correct time.

• Monitoring zones/divisions in all respects of Supply Chain and managing selected commodities of procurement across Nation and Globe, ensuring savings targets.
• To facilitate improvement in opportunity identification in domestic formulation supply chain area to drive high impact initiatives and to achieve business results.
• To approach operational excellence with a commercial focus in mind by monitoring existing suppliers’ performance in terms of quality, reliability, cost and security of supply.
• Negotiations, recommendations of supplier after analysing Supplier Quality Assessment and finalizing Contract/Agreements.
• Contingency planning and Process optimization.
• MIS reviews, research on requisition, competitiveness and techno commercial comparison
• Prioritise team members workload to ensure that all tasks are dealt with in their correct order while system to enhance synergy & operational effectiveness
• Measure productivity gains from completed projects.
• Challenge the current process and systems we use to implement break through ideas and concepts to benefit the organization.
