• All day to day operation matters of Near-shore and Onshore Geotechnical Investigation i.e. Project Plans, Site inspections, Daily Reports, Daily drilling work program, Work Orders to drillers and Laboratory testing program for geotechnical projects.
• Project planning, Time Schedule and Kick off meeting.
• Project coordination, preparation of project information sheets (PIS).
• Supervision of ground investigations for different on-shore and near-shore projects.
• Coordinating with client representatives during the execution of the project.
• Perform site visits, investigations and create inspection reports.
• Monitoring of field work (Rotary / Percussion / CPT Machines).
• Carrying out Site walk over surveys, as part of site reconnaissance.
• Preparation of Daily Progress Report (DPR) of the project.
• Coordinating with client representatives during the execution of the project.
• Carrying out of in situ tests like Permeability (Falling Head, Constant Head, Packer), Pressuremeter etc.
• Installation of Standpipe and Piezometers and Monitoring of ground water levels.
• Monitoring of Piezo Cone Penetration Tests (PCPTs) and Dynamic Cone Penetration Tests.
• Logging of Soil and Rock Samples as per BS 5930: 1999 and ASTM D2488.
• Site Data collection and management, Data Analysis using GeoDin and UniPlot softwares,
• Preparation of laboratory schedules as per the requirement of the project.
• A complete understanding of BS 5930: 1999 ‘Code of Practice for Site Investigation’ and BS 1377: 1990 ‘Method of test for Soils for Civil Engineering Purposes’.
• A complete understanding of ASTM D2487 ‘Standard Practice for Classification of Soils for Engineering Purpose’ and ASTM D2488 ‘Standard Practise for Description and Identification of Soils’.
• Project Progress meetings.
• Preparation, initial checking and submission of the Geotechnical Factual reports to Lead Engineer.
• All day to day operation matters of Geotechnical Investigation i.e. Site inspections, daily reports, daily drilling work program, work orders to drillers and laboratory testing program for geotechnical projects.
• Supervision of ground investigations for different on-shore projects.
• Coordinating with client representatives during the execution of the project.
• Perform site visits, investigations and create inspection reports.
• Monitoring of field work (Rotary / Percussion / CPT Machines).
• Prepare visual description of Rock and Soil strata as per BS 5930: 1999 ‘Code of Practice for Site Investigation’.
• Preparation of laboratory test schedule as per the requirement of the project.
• Prepare draft borehole logs based on visual description and laboratory test results.
• Preparing and initial checking of the Geotechnical reports prior to the submission for approval of Geotechnical Manager.
• A complete understanding of BS 5930: 1999 ‘Code of Practice for Site Investigation’ and BS 1377: 1990 ‘Method of test for Soils for Civil Engineering Purposes’.
• Identify, label and store the sample properly as per the defined procedure. Prepare monthly disposal sheet.
• Maintenance / Calibration of Rig / CPT Machines.
