Working as an accountant in receivables team, responsible for various areas including billing, reconciliations and dealing with various financial queries

Duties & Responsibilities:-
➢ Assisting the finance manager in a variety of business roles.
➢ Billing to customers.
➢ Contributes in achieving billing targets and collections target set for the team.
➢ Prepares and verifies monthly bills for all customers assigned as per terms and conditions with them and within the agreed time period.
➢ Follows up collection with the customers so that the payments are received on time.
➢ Books month end journal entries pertaining to billing and collection.
➢ General ledger entry-passing journal entries for petty cash & customer accounts.
➢ Regularly reconciles the account with customer's statement.
➢ Analyzing financial data and making conclusions.
➢ Coordinates with various departments in obtaining accurate information for customers for their queries.
➢ Assists team leader in gathering and compilation of information for pending payments from the customers.
➢ Resolves problems with the accounts team, discusses with team leader & other concerned staff to determine source of trouble & take appropriate corrective action.
➢ Maintains timely documentation and appropriate handover to ensure continuity of service.
➢ Organizing regular monthly meeting with the customers.
➢ Maintains complete and accurate customer accounts.
➢ Performs coordination of month end close procedures.
➢ Communicating clearly & effectively with the accounts team.
