Main Responsibilities
Planned, organized and carried out internal audit function to ensure the adherence to company policies and procedures & CBK guidelines through regular evaluation of control and governance process
Verified all accounting vouchers, payments, receipts, supporting documents and bank reconciliations etc. to ensure the authenticity.
The controller of all the legal and other documents for Central Bank of Kuwait
Analyzed the audit report on receiving from Assistant Internal Auditor, identify and assess the risk, facilitate the meeting with Review Team, discuss the follow-up process, set dates for closure of the audit findings
Introduced, reviewed and implemented internal control measures and monitored
Submit written presentation and reports to Managing Partner with the deficiencies, recommendations and with the corrective action to increase the efficiency
Execute internal audits as per the standards and in a professional manner as per the audit plan
Continuous monitoring of financial budget and cost control measures
Administrative reporting to the General Manager and functionally reporting to Managing Partner and approved by Central Bank of Kuwait as Internal Auditor
Main responsibilities:-
1 Assisting Head of Audit for administration of the assigned cluster
2 Conduct periodical inspection of the branches and verification of stock position of cash, FC, TC etc, verification of day to day transactions and report the management if any Operational or Business Risks found through Audit Report and follow up of the rectification.
3 Verification of cheque registers, bank transactions, reconciliation reports etc and ensure that cancelled cheques are defaced and no missing in between unused cheque leaves
4 Co-ordination with other internal and external auditors.
5 Ensure proper filing of Encashment Certificates, Cash Memos
6 Ensure conformity with KYC/AML guidelines issued by RBI and SOP issued the company for all the transactions
7 Ensure required documents are collected for bulk purchases and sale of FC from and to Authorized Dealer/FFMC
8 Verify Inter Branch Receipts, Payments and Payments are properly authenticated and made strictly as per Corporate Office guidelines
9 Verification of statutory registers and other records maintained by the branch.
10 Ensure regulatory compliance under AML/KYC etc.
11 Management of accounts in a computerized environment.
12 Reporting to the management on abnormalities and observations found during the period of audit
1 Daily verification and approval of Journal Voucher prepared by CSO in branch
2 Develop and maintain financial data
3 Handling petty cash
4 Prepare Bank Reconciliation Report
5 Preparing monthly financial statements
6 Analyzing trends in revenues and expenditure and recommend appropriate budget levels and control
7 Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
8 Reconciliation of banks and other remittances
