I own and manages the processes to achieve sales, margin and inventory turnover for SDA merchandise areas. Responsible for assortment planning, product selection, vendor negotiation, and marketing of SDA merchandise categories. Develop strong vendor partnerships and negotiate effectively with vendors on product costs, terms and returns issues.
Provide strong leadership to execute merchandise strategy, develop pricing and marketing strategies, and manage financial plans. Overall is an entrepreneurial role, i drive extra SDA business to bring great products to our stores
Buyer Digital Imaging-& Telecom
• Responsible for supplier business agreement, margin, rebate, progressive rebate, branding and promotion agreement
• Preparation of the Purchases Budget and closely involved in the planning process for the each MC. ensure that products appear in the right store in the right time.
• Merchandising range development & planning, inventory control and allocations. Build product range for the business unit. Manage, analyze and review store grading based on sales trends of each events.
• Identified products to maximize promotional and marketing strategies to meet sales and margin goals based on internal business and external market factors
My job description contains: daily communication with suppliers, making plans of sales and promotion, making contracts, fixing purchase and selling prices, ensuring equipment of shops, purchase and sale control.
Passed Full time MBA from calicut university, specialized in Marketing-Retail Management and HRM
