1.Supervises and coordinates the appropriate processing of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, receiving reports, inventory requisitions applicable to items maintained.
2.Provides accurate, current inventory data for purchasing decisions.
3.Maintains inventories at optimum levels to prevent under-or-over investment in inventory.
4.Supervises and coordinates the taking of periodic physical inventories.
5.Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation.
6.Prepares reports of inventory balance, shortages, as required.
7.Corresponds with vendors concerning inquiries about merchandise ordered.
8.Oversees work performed by support personnel.
1.Controlling the inventory flow in the organisation.
2. Co-ordinate replenishment activities.
3. Cost controlling in inventory section.
4. Maintaining various levels of inventory.
5. Co-ordinate with external warehouses.
6.Preparation and sending of orders to the external warehouses based on the replenishment orders approved by sales team.
7.Scanning items on reservation and items allocation.
8.Preparation of data for placing manual orders/local shortages/ top 20 item etc.
9.Preparation of various data about stock levels like re order level, danger level etc.
10.Scanning and checking empty location and missing locations.
11.Preparation and handover data to the goods flow team.
12.Recovery postings/back flow postings/ fixed asset postings /location transfer postings etc
Duties and responsibilities-
1.Recruit and lead the team with responsibility. Divide and allocate duties and responsibilities within the team members.
2.Identify and solicit potential customers and establish rapport to understand their needs and develop selling strategies in accordance with it.
3.Create promotion plans and implement them accordingly
4.Conduct training programmes, seminars about the business strategy and promotion plans.
I5.nitiate and lead team meetings.
6.Work closely with top level management and report the progress. 7.Communicate the relevant top level strategies to the team members.
8.Analyse Market share of products and company as a whole. Analyse competitor activities and market trends.
9.Ensure the promotion campaigns shows profitability and productivity.
Develop reports, proposals and PowerPoint presentations.
