Description: XPO Logistics Split into 2 different entities. Over 216 users in Mumbai came under XPO Logistics India Shared Services LLP. They were using HP IT Assets & accessories and we planned to give them Dell IT Assets & accessories. I was leading a team of 2 Deskside Engineers and 2 Vendor Engineers for the same and was reporting to IT Director, India. I was looking after dispatches of Dell Laptops as well. Planning started on 16th June 2021 and we successfully completed it on 27th Aug 2021 with the help of our Vendor & other Management Team.
Laptop imaging is done with the help of Vendor for which I coordinated between XPO’s US counterparts & Vendor’s network & server team for IPSEC VPN Tunnel configuration and Windows Deployment with PXE & WDS Servers
During the same time around 40 new joiners were onboarded, and I was continuously giving all 256 users support over phone, chat & remote.

Responsibilities:
Requirement gathering from XPO’s Management & Staff.
Planning of laptop delivery, dispatch & user communication.
Communication with Dell, Vendor, Management & Users.
Making sure that all laptops are ready with basic requirements of domain, software and access rights before dispatch.
Continuous communication with users with email templates for the updates of new Dell Assets.
Communicating with Vendor & XPO US Team for any issues during laptop imaging.
Continuous follow up with Vendor & US Team in the initial phase.
Making sure that my team and vendor gets proper update and access rights for successful completion of project.
Resolving user queries & IT issues once IT Assets reach them.
