Client: Umid Babek Operating Company (UBOC)
Project: Umid 2 & Babek Field Development Project (Detailed Design). The project employs two offshore platform hub made up of a production and drilling platform linked via 75m long bridge and onshore Terminal. The offshore facilities are based on no processing offshore with all export via a 20’’ 56km multiphase export pipelines between Umid-2 and the new Dashgil processing terminal. Umid-2 development is planned to develop 20.9Bm3 of gas and 2.37MMm3 of condensate.

Project: The Azeri Central East (ACE). The new Production, Drilling, Quarters fixed platform located in the existing Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field within Azerbaijan’s territorial waters of the Caspian Sea. The new facility will complement existing West Chirag and Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli Full Field Development production and located between the Central Azeri and East Azeri facilities in ~137 m water depth. The ACE facility includes lightweight drilling facilities and a single, two phase, production train that will carry out gas / liquid separation and export comingled crude oil and produced water to the existing Sangachal Terminal.
- Responsible for designing of the electrical equipment and packages for offshore platform and onshore terminal.
- Preparation of technical specification and philosophies as well as requisition documents for electrical packages.
- Preparation of project electrical engineering deliverables.
- Make sure that Lessons Learnt from previous projects are implemented.
- Scope of work preparation for electrical related activities.
- Carry out necessary technical studies in order to propose optimized solution.
- Lead electrical technical review of the bidder’s proposals and prepare technical recommendations accordingly.
- Review and comment vendor deliverables interpret facilities engineering drawings.
- Follow-up Purchase orders to ensure timely approval.
- Participate in FAT with vendors.
- Ensure that the punchlist items cleared before departure of the packages.
- Ensure effective and timely response to technical queries.
- Supporting other disciplines packages for electrical queries and providing inputs.
- Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.

Project: Western Route Export Pipeline Sectional Replacement Project: Replacement of 11 km of pipeline sections of 830 km pipeline, which transports up to 100, 000 barrels of oil a day, and construction of a new block valve station.
- Responsible for planning, design, execution and management of the E&I engineering tasks.
- Ensure that the safety procedures followed all the time.
- Create a clear execution installation plan, including planning job task labour, and materials deliveries.
- Requisition of electrical equipment and materials, including Technical Bid Evaluations and Bid Clarification.
- Production of cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose.
- Monitoring progress of work and achieving completion within the agreed schedule and budget.
- Demonstrate ability to interface well with other engineering disciplines.
- Re-solution of technical queries arising at site.
- Managing other contractors ensuring quality and alignment with project Codes&Standards.

Project: South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion Project: Laying 486 km of a new pipeline across two countries and construction of two new compressor stations.
- Focal point for technical construction activities on Electrical Instrument & Telecom discipline
- Responsible for the design and approval of all electrical work on project
- Ensure electrical construction activities comply with Client requirements, specifications, codes&standards
- Provide technical support for Electrical Instrument and Telecom construction effort including participation in construction planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts and constructability reviews.
- Interface with all on-site departments as required resolving problems, ensuring quality of construction in support of overall project schedule
- Specify and prepare equipment and material requisitions for E&I activities, material take-offs.
- Ensure that the necessary As Built Drawings, Operating and Maintenance manuals and test dossiers are in place for handover of the completed facilities.
- Ensure GOC certification is completed and included in MC1 package
- Construction and Commissioning of Pig Launcher/Receiver stations and Block Valve Stations:
