Outreach Medical Doctor at Irbid Mobile Clinic
- Provide daily curative services for general diseases at the clinic for minor cases
- Provides a referral base at the clinic for more severe cases to other specialized services
- Manage and provide directions for the staff in mobile clinic for day to day activities
- Support the needs of systems and databases as required to ensure proper care of patients
- Liaise with pharmacies, laboratories and other providers as needed to ensure quality care
- Manage inventories of supplies in a professional and tidy manner ensuring accountability
- Report needs and concerns to the Deputy health manager
I deal with emergency cases of different complains ( myocardial infarction, stroke, chest pain, respiratory infections both upper and lower, headache, acute abdominal pain and complains, urinary tract infection, diabetic patients with acute diabetic complications, hypertension and its complications, asthmatic exacerbation, road traffic accidents, skin and wounds infection and so on ) .. in Italian hospital most of our job is in corporation with Charity Association ( caritas ) which helps Syrian and Iraqi refugees and provide different medical and surgical services for them .
(*) 3 months surgical training and 2 months in the ER: during this course my training was with the team of trauma which is a combined team of general surgeon and orthopedic surgeon, the team provides care for victims of road traffic accidents, falling down and war injuries patients who were mainly from GAZA, LIBYA and YAMEN.
My role in the team was:
I.providing preoperative and postoperative care (backslaps, dressing )
II.receiving patients in the ER room, resuscitation
III.working as a 2nd ( sometimes as 1st ) assistant in the operation room .
-(*) 3 months in the medicine department:
-Dealing with chronic medical cases in daily clinics.
-Participate in morning rotation in the department with medical teams ( Consultants, seniors residents and junior residents ).
-Writing follow up notes and progress notes of the ward patients .
-Working Day/ night shifts with the medical emergency team .
(*) 2 month in the pediatric department:
-Dealing with Pediatric medical and surgical cases in daily clinics.
-Participate in morning rotation in the department with pediatric teams ( Consultants, seniors residents and junior residents ).
-Writing follow up notes and progress notes of the ward patients .
-Working Day/ night shifts with the pediatric emergency team .
(*) 2 month in the obstetric and gynecology department .
