A continuation project of a previous Balanced Score Card project for the Municipality of Jeddah,
My work includes:-
- Designing Balanced Score Cards for departments of the Amana including:
- Building strategy maps, designing KPIs and operating the KPIs to generate actual performance reports.
- Monthly review of performance reports with the departments to produce a plan and set of actions to improve performance.
- Manage relationship between our strategy office and the department to insure full understanding between both parties to insure the success and benefit of our services in the field of strategy and performance management to the departments.
- Part of my duties is being a Communication Coordinator for the Office of Strategy Management, my tasks involved the following:
- Work with the Communication team to plan and set up the monthly and quarterly strategic competition events in Jeddah Municipality.
- Involvement in producing the Office of Strategy Management's news letter.
- Coordinator for the Investments Departments in the AMANA to follow up on specific projects progression, supporting the projects and insuring the ongoing of the project and providing detailed reports to the management of the investment department.
Due to the merger of Royah Company with the new groups Optimiza, I was in charge of making the transition between the two entities in terms of Human Resources and Administration. I have worked on:
- Merging the Human Resources policy for the new organization.
- Providing full support to the new Human Resources department management of the new company till they had completely taken over.
- I have insured that all are processes and files were handed over to the new department including having prepared all the Human Resources employees data to be formatted for the new Human Resources system to complete the transition.
- I was acting as the secretary of the board for the new company.
- Responsible for all administrative tasks
- Responsible for all human resources activities including (Recruitment, Performance Management)
I am part of a balance score card team project for the Municipality of Jeddah. Our work included all phases of developing it, that which included:-
- Gathering available Data concerning the Balanced Score Card relating to City Municipalities and its best practices.
- Designing a methodology with the team for producing the balance score card for the municipality’s functional sectors.
- Implementing the designed approach through facilitating workshops with the team and our assigned functional sector of the Municipality to convince them of the Balance Score Card and its value to them and to assist them to produce their Mission, Vision, Objectives, Strategy Maps, Measures, Target and initiatives.
- Filtering the data and reviewing it with the departments to produce the final version of the Balanced Score Cards to be presented by the departments to the Mayor.
- During the project I still continued to act as the company's Human Resources manager remotely by email, telephone and whenever needed, I would visit the office.
My work included working closely with consultants on a new project, a Savola Call Center project, as a new opportunity to later develop into an Assistant Business development manager for the project. I was involved in the field work of the feasibility study, and was trained by the consultants in the aspects of managing the business of Call Centers.
I was a management trainee in the consultancy. The work included designing questionnaires, gathering information through market surveys & interviews, Entering data into computer in Excel and SNAP, producing the results and assist in doing the analysis. The projects that I have worked on were:
1- Jeddah Municipality: I joined in designing the questionnaires, supervising the gathering of the data. After gathering questionnaires I coded the answers and entered them all in SNAP to be used for the analysis.
2- Savola Franchise: I was involved in designing the questionnaires and collecting most of the data required for the project mostly in Jeddah and also from Riyadh, Dammam and Khobar. Also I had to enter the data in Excel format to be used for the analysis and then formatting them to be entered in
the final report.
3- Horaibi Real Estate project: the project required gathering information of show rooms and offices for rent through interviews with their marketing/ sales offices, gathering information on rates & vacancies. After gathering the information I entered the data in Excel for the analysis and then profiled each property and formatted them to fit into the final report.
4- Real Estate Project: for this project I helped in the recoding of the questionnaires, entering the data in SNAP and assist in the analysis.
5- USC Employees Perception Survey: I participated in the recoding of the questionnaires and entering them into Snap.
I worked as a trainee in under the Marketing Department mainly for 2 projects one for evaluating a new product in the market, and another for measuring market share of the company’s medical products. It included designing of the research, collecting, analyzing data and producing the final results. I have also
participated in data collection for them in other studies.
I worked as a trainee under the Human Resources department to conduct a study about the employee's satisfaction of the company in Jeddah for more then 200 employees, which included interviewing the head of departments and randomly chosen employees, designing questionnaire, data entry and analysis using SNAP software and delivering the final report to the company. The whole study was under the supervision of the HR department.
